  1. New Release: BT WCS eCoRepair 07/12/07 Product Highlights:Slide Current alarm checks in diagnostic section should use 2 - 6 PSAT (same as during fault creation). Provision to create a fault after the diagnostic alarms 7 - 8 check results are displayed. User can specify 24x7 site access for A-end and B-end. 9 - 11 Disclaimer – This is not a Training Document but is meant only as a guide to new or changed functionality. There may be some minor differences between the screenshots and the live system.

  2. Current alarm checks in diagnostic section should use PSAT (same as during fault creation). When the user clicks on Diagnostics option of eCoRepair, main menu of Diagnostics is displayed as shown in figure 1. a) User needs to select “Private Circuit Alarm Check” and then click on “Continue” button. Figure 1: Main menu of Diagnostics

  3. b) In this screen user needs to enter the circuit number in the “Enter BT Circuit Number:” in the “Circuit Number” text box and select “Current” in from the ”Alarm Checks” panel and click on Check as shown in figure 2 below. Figure 2: Private Circuit diagnostics alarm check type screen. NB: When “Current” is selected from this screen alarm test is carried out through PSAT instead of OSC. For “Historic” alarm test there no change has been implanted and for it business as usual.

  4. c) A successful call fetches data for the entered circuit and is displayed to the user. While fetching data for the circuit and before those details are displayed an intermediate screen is displayed to the user as shown in figure 3. Figure 3: Screen displayed to user while details are being fetched for the entered circuit. d) After a successful call is made from eCoRepair to fetch details for the entered circuit and if the circuit does not have an open fault in CAMSS details are displayed to the user in “Circuit Status” and “Circuit Details” panel. In the “Alarm Check” panel of the same screen alarm test is currently getting executed for the circuit [through PSAT]. Please see figure 4 below. Figure 4: Circuit Details are displayed and alarm test is getting executed for the circuit.

  5. e) After a successful call is made from eCoRepair to fetch details for the entered circuit and if the circuit has an open fault in CAMSS details are displayed to the user in “Circuit Status” and “Circuit Details” panel [Please refer figure 5 below]. For circuits having open fault in CAMSS before carrying out alarm test for the circuit a message is displayed to the user [Please refer figure 6 below]. If user selects “OK” from that message Alarm test is executed [Now through PSAT] as shown in figure 7 below. Figure 5: Fault and circuit details are displayed for Open faults.

  6. Figure 6: Message displayed before carrying out alarm test for circuits having open faults. Figure 7: Alarm result displayed for an open fault.

  7. Provision to create a fault after the diagnostic alarms check results are displayed. a) A provision is given to the user to raise faults on circuits after alarm result is displayed provided alarm test is carried through diagnostics functionality present in eCoRepair and “Current” option was selected. [Please refer Figure 2: Private Circuit diagnostics alarm check type screen for “Current” option and related features]. Fault raising option will only be displayed for those circuits which do not have an open fault. For circuits having open fault, users are restricted from raising another fault using this feature. A question “Do you wish to create fault?” with two button “Yes” and “No” appears on the screen [Please refer figure 8 below]. If “Yes” button is clicked Structured Questions for the circuit appears [provided the circuit type has structured questions enabled], which users need to answer to raise the fault on the entered circuit [Please refer figure 9 below]. If “No” button is clicked Figure 2 – Private Circuit diagnostics alarm check type screen is displayed. Figure 8: Fault raising option displayed to user after alarm result is displayed.

  8. Figure 9: Structured questions displayed when user click "Yes" button of figure 8.

  9. User can specify 24x7 site access for A-end and B-end. a) This functionality is provided for a particular structured question known as “A-end” & “B-end” details. A check box named “24x7 Access For A-End” and “24x7 Access For B-End” is provided. If user selects either of them then A-End “From Date and Time” or B End “From Date and Time” gets hidden implying that, that end has round the clock access. Please refer figure 10 for A-End / B-End question when “24x7 Access For A-End” and “24x7 Access For B-End” remains unchecked; and refer figure 11 when to see the changes when those check boxes are checked. Validations that are already there for this question works in same way.

  10. Figure 10: 24x7 Access Time for A-End and B-End is unchecked.
