  2. Nondisclosure Agreement • Some vital materials used are subject to a signed non-disclosure agreement. Please respect that some questions may not be fully explained due to the NDA.

  3. Combustion • Since the midterm: • The programs and analysis have been completed. • We completed analysis on each fuel (6). • We ranked the fuels based off of cost per gallon and efficiency

  4. Combustion: Raw Data

  5. Combustion: Initial Stoichiometric Testing

  7. Engine • The engine calculations have been completed since before the midterm. No new information to report. • Meeting with Dr. Taylor has been scheduled to check validity of our program. • We are working on illustrating the process so it is easier to understand for the audience.

  8. Boiler • Currently: • The boiler’s heat transfer calculation is still in progress. Estimated to be completed next week.

  9. Heat loss due to convection Condenser and Pump • Condenser – Analysis Models • Internal Forced Convection - Complete • Conduction – On Going • External Forced Convection – Complete • Radiation – Complete (negligible) • Feed Water Pump – Analysis Model • Temperature Difference Across the Pump - Complete • Power Required to Run Pump – Complete • Cavitation – On Going (Cond. Pressure Drop/Buffer Tank) • Currently researching commercial water pump to handle required conditions.

  10. Finite Element Analysis • Currently we are trying to analysis the 3D model provided from Spindyne. • We could possibly change that to a 2D analysis due to time constraints.
