  1. 5 Golden Rules to Sport a Perfect Bespoke Look

  2. Over view Suits have always been a preferred choice when it comes to men’s signature clothing collection. A well-fitted suit makes you look dapper and confident, an ill-fitted one makes you look clumsy. When buying tuxedos and suits, it is important to check that it fits you well and fulfills important aspects of clothing- style and comfort. The blog discusses some golden rules that you need to try a suit to ensure that it complements your body.

  3. Shoulder When you try a jacket, the first thing to check is its fit on the shoulder. Sloping shoulders may need padding to lift the area, whereas narrow shoulders require a slightly extended horizontal shoulder. In addition, sloped shoulder can be used to offset extra height. Nonetheless, an ideal shoulder construction is neither too big(not sagging over the shoulder line) nor too small (provides unrestricted movement of the arms).

  4. Jacket Length If a jacket is too short, it exposes undesirable portions of your anatomy while a too long one makes you look dwarf. A suit jacket needs to cover most of the zip of your trouser from front and back. To identify the right fit, keep arms loose on the side and curl up the fingers, if the jacket bottom rests in your palm, you are wearing a right length jacket.

  5. Jacket Sleeves Sleeves of your jacket need to end right above the hinge of your wrist (or top of your wrist bone). The perfect length of your jacket’s sleeve also depends on the length of the shirt. The right fit shirt’s sleeve needs to end at the base of your hand. Once both shirt and jacket sleeves are aligned, you will see that some part of your shirt cuff is showing, which proves your jacket sleeve is of perfect length.

  6. Trouser Seat Another important aspect that you need to pay attention to when buying a suit is the fit of the trouser seat. The trouser seat should fit comfortably, without being too huge so that they do not hang or sag and not too tight that they look too tight and dig in.

  7. Trouser Break The break of your trouser is where the fold of the bottom meets your shoes. Paying attention to where your trouser breaks is what defines an outfit that sings and one that looks like a borrowed piece of clothing. There are typically three ways in which a man’s trouser could break - no-break, half-break, and full break, the choice, however, depends on personal taste and the length of the trouser and ankle opening.

  8. Keep Calm and Suit up! As they say, “swag is for boys, class is for men” you need to be particular about what you wear. A perfect dapper look is impossible if your suit doesn’t fit you well and that’s the reason we have some golden rules you need to follow when buying a suit. Hope this brief read helps you choose the right fit, next time you purchase a bespoke suit.
