  2. Gearing Up for Safety • Production Agriculture Safety Training for Youth • CD given to each Ag educator in ND • Students become certified to operate equipment on the farm • Created at Purdue University

  3. 17 YRS OF ABC Volunteers include: • FFA • Public Health • NDFB Members

  4. Safety at Living Ag Classrooms • Field trip for 4th graders in vicinity of Fargo Bismarck Minot

NDFB Support for Farm Safety Day Events • Become a Progressive Ag Foundation Safety Day by applying by 15th of July for following year • Application available at www.progressiveag.org • NDFB Foundation award includes: 1. Up to $250 to travel to coordinator training 2. $400 for expenses for the event 3. Materials for participants 4. Use of Safety Displays

  11. ND “ASH” Committee • Agriculture Safety & Health (ASH) • Created with funding from GPCAH • Members include Public Health, Cooperative Extension, Farm Bureau, Farm Safety 4 Just Kids, Ag Educators, and Mental Health Association • Review issues twice a year
