The Solent, UK 9th – 11th July 2010 What is the format? Pick up yachts at Port Solent on Friday 9th Evening activities in Port Solent Races in Solent on 10th Evening at Island Sailing Club, Cowes Races in Solent on 11th finishing in Port Solent What boats are we using? Matched fleet of SunsailSunfast 37’s Winning is down to skill and teamwork Maximum of 8 people Sleep on board or sleep ashore What sailing experience do we need? Minimum of one person with Coastal Skipper practical and one with Day Skipper What if we have a crew, but not a skipper? Sunsail can provide skippers at an additional cost Who will be there? Previous years have seen crews from Ashridge, Bath, Bocconi, Bradford, CASS, Columbia, Cranfield, Durham, Exeter, GISMA, Henley, Insead, Imperial, Judge, Kingston, Kellogg, LBS, Leipzig, Manchester, Rotterdam, Said, Smurfit, Trinity and Warwick. We are expecting many of these back again this year. What qualifications do we need? Five people to have, or to be studying for, a post-grad business school degree Teams can be from different schools; corporate teams are encouraged Other 3 crew can be spouses, faculty or family What are the costs? Each boat will cost £2500 This includes wet weather gear, evening events and and all food.
