Caveat Emptor • Thanks to the LCLS Linac for the opportunity to talk about Design Organization / Documentation. • Any credibility comes from the long study of SLAC/SSRL & NLC work process. • I lie, cheat, and will steal when necessary! • I have experienced or were possibly personally responsible for many really good SLAC failures! • I’m a proponent revisionism! • I’m lazy to hell. • Personally driven to help improve ‘project design process’ by promoting clear, simple, uniform, and early design product directions. • I will need help to collect critical design information to improve project management and demonstrate clearly exceptional designs.
