Program Details • Programs: • Kick off – Free food at Central Plaza • Power Out for Poverty – Campus wide, Poverty Project voluntary black out - 2/16 • SGA’s Dancing in the Dark @ Illusions - 2/23 • Individual Building Programs • Campus prizes: • Watering station • National prizes • Free food in high traffic locations(popcorn & hot cocoa?) • Bragging Rights! • Marketing Materials: • Word of Mouth!!!!!!!! • Banner on UC balcony • Table tents • Electronic Posters • Radio • Athletics • E-Marketing

Upcoming Events • Recyclemania (February 5 – March 31) – National recycling competition against 600+ universities and colleges.  This will be the third year we have participated.  http://www.recyclemaniacs.org/index.htm • Wild and Scenic Film Festival (April 18)– Considered the largest film festival of its kind.  Expect to see award winning films about nature, community activism, adventure, conservation, water, energy and climate change, wildlife, environmental justice, agriculture, Native American and indigenous cultures.  A kick-off event to Earth and Wellness Celebration at WCU and a membership drive for WNC Alliance.  We get to pick the films to be shown at WCU.  Sponsored by WNC Alliance.   http://www.wildandscenicfilmfestival.org/about/ • Earth and Wellness Celebration (April 18) – This year we are combining Earth Day, Wellness Fair and Stress-Free Cullowhee for one big celebration at WCU on the UC Lawn.
