  2. Business Conference • MiraCosta College • Friday, September 16th • All employees are invited to attend • Maximum of 3 employees will be allowed to sit on stage • Transportation by bus

  3. Business Conference • Turn in Parent Permission Form and Email/Photo/Video Form • Lunch Provided • Leave at 8:00am – • Return by 1:30pm

  4. Company Name • Marketing and Sales Departments will meet to create a name for our company. • Create 5 for us to vote on.

  5. Logo Design • Marketing and Sales Departments will meet with the Information Technology Department to create the logo design. • Create 5 for us to vote on.

  6. Business Cards • Administration will discover what information we will need on our business cards. • Administration will create the business cards using MS Publisher. • Print them out for all employees.

  7. Due Dates!!! • Administration will determine general due dates for all tasks by using the Virtual Enterprise (VE) website.

  8. Location • Accounting Dept will find a location to rent which will satisfy our needs. • Accounting will also shop for PCs, furniture, etc. • Accounting will also meet with HR to determine salaries.

  9. Filing Cabinets • Administration will empty out/recycle/reuse old files from the filing cabinets. • Reuse folders for employees • Setup one folder per employee • Design your company’s file cabinet.

  10. Rules and Regulations • Human Resources (HR) Department will create a list of general rules and regulations on how we should conduct ourselves during a business event and during regular business hours.

  11. Organization Chart and Salaries • HR will need to add names to our official organizational chart using PowerPoint. • HR will work with Acct. to determine salaries. • HR will create job descriptions.

  12. What to Say and How to Say It • Sales Department will need to create a description of what each employee will need to say when approached at the business conference. • Who we are • What we sell • Each person’s title • When to hand out your business card • Etc.

  13. Name Tags • Sales Department will need to create Name Tags for all employees. • Employee Name • Position • Company Logo • Company Name • Mission Vista HS Logo incl.

  14. Web Site • IT and Marketing will determine a domain name. • Choose 5 available for voting. • Use Godaddy.com • Create a website layout.
