Namibia would be consider an LEDC country compared to the U.K. G.N.P in Namibia is $7,500, compared to the U.K.’s $31,800. This poorer provision of healthcare means infant mortality is higher in Namibia (47.23 per 1000) compared to the U.K. (5.01 per 1000). And life expectancy is lower (42.11 yrs) compared to the U.K. (78.7).
