  1. Do Now 12/10/13 Although many colonized peoples were mistreated and taken advantage of, there were some benefits to colonization. Consider what your life would be like on a remote island pre-Industrial Revolution… • What technological advances (of 100 years ago) would you really look forward to? • What cultural changes might you benefit from?

  3. C.Sepoy Rebellion- Rumor surfaced that British were using pig and cow fat to grease bullets. 1. Cows sacred to Hindus 2. Pigs taboo to Muslims 3. Group of Sepoys refused to load rifles 4. Atrocities took place on both sides.
