  1. Nontidal Network Database Implementation on CIMS- where do we stand now?

  2. DATABASE • All data from Mike’s database is now in a database for the NTID network stations 1965 thru dec 2005 • I can currently query this data for users • This is not available to the public yet • Eventually all data submitters will have their own submittal page on our QA tool (internet accessed), and will need to upload their data in an Access 97 file • Most 2006 data needs to be added • IT department has been contacted, will move forward in December with getting data uploaded from submitters to CIMS

  3. NTN STATIONS by State These are all stations that are currently ACTIVE: DO WE WANT ALL OF THESE (RIM stations?!) included in the database?? • DELAWARE (2) : 1) 01488500 2) 01487000 • MARYLAND (13 + 4RIM) : 1)   ANT0047 (01619500) 14) 01491000 (RIM) 2)   BEL0053 (01495000) 15) 01594440 (RIM) 3)   GWN0115 (01589300) 16) CB1.0 (01578310) (RIM) 4)   DER0015 (01580520) 17) TF2.0 (01594526) (RIM) 5)   NPA0165 (01586000) 6)   TF1.2 (01594526) 7)   MON0546 (01639000) 8)   TUK0181 (01491500) 9)   WIL0013 (01601500) 10) GEO0009 (01599000) 11) GUN0258 (01582500) 12)  PXT0972 (01591000) 13) CAC0148 (01637500)

  5. Data Attributes ** Are we missing any necessary attributes to the data? ** Each of these represents a field in a table in the database: • USGS Gage (associated to station or actual station) • Station name • Phase 5 Code • Dropped or relocated, when each done • Start date, end date (of station in NTN) • State • Lat/long (NAD83) • Water Body • Storm or Baseflow (Sampling_type) • Primary/Secondary (station_type) • Core/trend/RIM type • ANY OTHER STATION INFO WANTED? Basin, TS_Basin, HUC11, etc • Parameter (CBP) • USGS Parameter Code • Qualifier • **BMDL value (need?) • Method • Requests already suggested: • Add a “load/trend” field for sample records – 3yrs of records for loads, 10 yrs - trends • Project (core, trend, NTN, etc) • Sampling: baseflow or storm

  6. Open Discussion • Are there specific outputs that people use now or would like the database to perform? • Is something missing from the database that can be useful? Or something that in general for analyses (besides maps) could be posted to CIMS internet NTN database site? • How important is cross-querying with the tidal database on CIMS? We will be moving all duplicate data (NTN) to this new database from the TIDAL one. • Anything else?
