Factors that prove GREATNESS • It must stand the test of time—it needs to be lasting—something that only impacts a society or people for a short period does not qualify • It must be significant • Test of time—25, 50, 150 years latter it is still significant • Able to define the lasting impact—what changed, how did it change?

  3. What happened? • • What is essential to remember? • • What was the outcome? • • Who was involved? • • Why did this happen? • • What was the main point? • • What should other people know and remember about this event/person?

  5. Marilyn Monroe—You have to be joking! • 1st sex symbol • Model—pin-up girl turned actress • Provocative and suggestive poses • Defined or created “sex symbol” • Blondes have more fun!
