What happened since SW week • LFC consolidation discussed between ATLAS and CERN/IT • Outcome and Actions • CERN IT will develop merging scripts (Mid February) • Current (legacy) central LFC will be decommissioned (Mid February) • Local LFC at CERN will be merged with a a few T1s LFCs as a dry-run (March 1st) • Replication to one T1 (possibly BNL) should be setup • Read-only, twice per day • Situation will be reassessed based on the outcome of points 1 and 3

What happened since SW week • LFC consolidation discussed between DDM and Panda teams • Outcome and Actions: • Output File Registration will be done by Panda server (instead of pilot) • Change in the pilot (implemented, to be tested) + protocol • Change in Panda Server (will use dq2-put as the T0) • Input File Lookup will still be done from the pilot • Can adopt the same strategy as output files if needed • Decision will be taken during staged rollout

  4. Next Steps • After the initial phase is over (end on March) we should start the real merge. Proposal: • CERN + SARA • CERN + SARA + 5% T1s (one by one) • CERN + SARA + 5% T1s + 10% T1s (one by one) • … • Timescale for the full migration is end of 2011
