Training programme in support of implementation of the SEEA in countries

This training programme aims to build capacity in countries and increase the pool of experts for the implementation of System of Environmental-Economic Accounting (SEEA). The programme includes online, in-person, and follow-up phases, and has been successfully conducted in collaboration with GIZ and UN regional commissions. Future plans include expanding the available courses to cover topics such as water, energy, and ecosystems, as well as developing a shorter introductory course for policymakers. The programme is supported by various UN agencies and aims to enhance national plans and increase overall capacity.
