This case study examines a 40-year-old woman with a history of right temporal lobe resection for a WHO grade 2 oligodendroglioma in 2004. During a follow-up MRI, a new lesion was identified two years post-exam. The MRI findings reveal characteristics of the original tumor as well as the newly developed lesion, including changes in size, shape, and signal intensity. Detailed analysis of the imaging will enhance understanding of oligodendroglioma recurrence and inform ongoing surveillance strategies.
