  1. The Nar Phu Trekis the perfect way to experience the raw beauty that exists in Nepal’s remote hills. This trek packs quite a punch, offering high peaks, glaciers, and barren landscapes. Not just geographical beauty, but this trek also includes lines of colorful chorten, gompas, temples, and unique Tibetain Himalayan villages. Unlike the Everest and Annapurna Circuit that sees thousands of visitors each year, the Nar Phu trek includes much more uncharted territories, putting you right in the heart of untouched valleys and truly isolated regions. Lose yourself in these uneven trails that ascend into tucked in Himalayan villages, descend into breathtaking gorges, and lead you to vast expanses of unoccupied lands. In just three weeks, you can find yourself collecting a treasure trove of memories. The best time to go on this trek is during Autumn and Spring. The trek can get quite strenuous in some parts, and you will also be passing very high altitudes such as the Kang-la Pass (5306m) and Thorung La Pass (5416m). During autumn and spring, the skies will be clearer so that you can get unobstructed views of peaks like Annapurna, Gangapurna, Tilicho, and much more. With Nepal Social Trek & Expedition, you can rest assured that our trained professionals will be fully prepared to deliver an unforgettable trekking experience. Whether it is history, culture, or architecture, our guides are ready with their knowledge to ensure that you can truly understand the trails that you conquer. We also have porters and first aid kits handy so that we can ensure that all you have to do is enjoy your trek and marvel at the beauty around you. This trip combines a spiritual, geographical, and cultural trekking experience in one and will be a perfect trip for you if you are looking for this blend. Why You’ll Love Nar Phu Trek! Panoramic views of famous peaks like Mt. Annapurna, Lamjung Himal, Manaslu Himal, Machhapuchhre Himal, Dhaulagiri Himal, and Tilicho Himal. Reaching high elevations at Thorong La Pass and Kang La Pass for unparalleled scenic beauty. Visiting ancient monasteries and appreciating their historical and cultural significance. Trekking into remote valleys and settlements in the Himalayan region. Visiting the hidden value of Nar and Phu. Your trek will be dotted with chortens, gompas, monasteries, interesting rock structures, and land formations.

  2. Is Nar Phu Trek Right For You? You will be walking for 5-7 hours per day for nearly three weeks. You might need some mental and physical preparation to tackle this. The lodges in the more remote areas, such as Yak Kharka, have the necessary amenities. You will have clean, cozy sleeping tents and hygienic food, but you may need to bring any additional materials yourself. This trek falls under a difficult category, so we recommend maintaining some degree of physical fitness prior to this trip or having some previous trekking experience. The elevation on this trek crosses 3500m as we will be crossing very high passes. So there is a risk of altitude sickness. If you have any pre-existing medical conditions, you need to seek medical advice before booking this trek. However, we have a comprehensive first aid kit and a trained staff on board to take care of your safety. Permits Required Nar Phu Trek has been declared as a restricted region for the preservation of the area. As such, independent trekkers are not allowed in this region.
