  3. Childhood • She was born in lake Jackson Texas • Was the youngest of three children • She was raised as a Jehovah’s Witness

  4. Career • Her father bought all her first cds and rereleased them. • She made six more cds without a contract • She had a clothing line and a doll

  5. Accomplishments • Selena won the Tejano music awards and was named the best female vocalist of the year. • Speeches:“Without you we would be nothing” • Body work: Amor Prohibido ,Bidi Bidi Bom Bom, No me Quedas Nada, Dreaming of You,Si una Vez

  6. Interesting Facts • Selenas favorite colors were purple and black • She wanted to have a farm • Her favorite restaurants were Pizza Hut and The Olive Garden • To pull a prank she took an Oreo and filled it with toothpaste for someone but her dad ate it.

  7. Death • Selena died because she owed her godmother money. • Her godmother was supposed to give her some papers and she took out a gun and shot her before she could run away.
