  2. History • The Amcham Brazil was founded in 1919 by 18 American and Brazilian businessman with the commun interest of developing the trade betwen the US and Brazil. That small group of founders included: • General Electric • Singer Sewing Machine Company • Mackenzie College • Citibank • Brazil Land and Cattle Packing Company.
