  1. Here Comes the Bride By: Leah Greene

  2. On November 2, 2010, Kandie Watts and Eric Oden took vows to become husband and wife. This would be Kandie's second wedding. The event was held in Centre Alabama at the Country Club where friends and family gathered to celebrate their wedding. The photo above is of the guest book, and it also has a toy to the side. The toy gave me the feeling that children were allowed at there and that it wasn't a very strict wedding.

  3. Kandie's sister, Kim, was the wedding planner. She made sure everything was in order and running smoothly. The photo above was taken before the wedding had begun. Kim said she had to make sure that everything was in place and that absolutely nothing went wrong on her sister's day. “Stressful, but I enjoyed planning my sister's wedding.” Kim mentioned while talking to guests.

  4. Before the wedding began, Gunner (age 5) and Riley (age 5) played a wedding of their own. The acted as if they were getting married too. They danced, held hands, and said “ I do.” Their little mini wedding was held outside before his mom walked down the isle. Later, Gunner and Riley were seen inside dancing, and still “Married”.

  5. Kandie and her mother were getting ready in the bathroom when Kandie had a major breakdown. Her emotions were running high as she questioned herself, like many brides do. Moments before the photo was taken, she was crying and getting encouragement from others. “We had to re-do my makeup at least three times!” The bride to be said once she was finally ready to go. After her tears were gone, she was ready to walk down the isle, arm in arm with her father.

  6. After Kandie had finished getting ready, and stopped the tears, she was ready to have her father walk her down the isle. Kandie said her father, Billy, had told her that it wasn't to late to turn back and that they could just go eat dinner. Joking, of course. Kandie then informed me that her father liked Eric very much and was extremely happy for the both of them. “I wasso nervous that Ialmost fell.” The bride told me. “It was a good thing my daddy was there.”

  7. Weddings are filled with multiple emotions. When Eric just had his first look at his new bride, he was full of many emotions. As Kandie was walking down the isle, he said he was speechless. “The most gorgeous bride I have ever seen.” He exclaimed later after the wedding. In the photo you can see the emotion all over his face; joy, excitement, love and speechlessness.

  8. Kandie and Eric said their vows and it seemed as if everyone let a tear fall. Her son, Gunner, cried as his soon to be father took the ring and placed it on Kandie's hand. When asked why he was crying, he replied “It's just a sad moment; a sad time.” As their vows continued, so did the tears. His tears would soon stop after he was told information about the honeymoon.

  9. After they said their vows, they tell Gunner news about their honeymoon. Gunner is told that they are going to Disney World and that he is going too. He is too excited to cry anymore and is overwhelmed with joy. “The look on his face was priceless.” Eric's mother said. When I asked him how he felt about going to Disney, he just jumped up and down, with a huge smile on his face.

  10. Kandie and Eric Oden cut the beautiful cake to start off a night full of dancing and celebrating. They did the traditional shoving of the cake in each others face as well. Many said that the cake was delicious, even if it was a brides cake. It was also described as moist, and the best bride's cake they have ever eaten. You can see the joy on their faces as they begin their new lives together.

  11. Once the wedding was over, the couple headed home to back their bags, and head off to Disney world. Kandie and Eric were so happy that all of the stress was over and that they could finally go home and relax. They also knew that Gunner couldn't wait to be at Disney, and neither could they. As they drove off, rice was thrown and waves and love were sent their way. Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Eric Oden.
