  3. The Rain At home the rain came down. It hit the roof on top of the house. It started slowly and then it came down fast. It put pressure on the rain. It started slowly. I’m saying it started with a drip, then another, then another drip, then it didn’t stop. I thought it was a flood. I ran inside. I got a heater and heated myself. Then I was bored so I said to Mum “Can I go on the computer?” Mum said “yes”. So I went on the computer. Then there was another problem. Our computer wasn’t working. Power Cut. No one could fix it. Then the roof was leaking. Then there was water coming down the street. Dad was coming home. Oh no, Dad is going to get a crash with the flood. Mum said ”Oh no.” But the water was going lower. I thought it was going lower. Dad was safe from the water. It went down the drain. I was right. It went down the drain. Dad’s van didn’t slip over. It was nice and strong. His van was nice and I thought he went in a car wash but he did not. By Fawaz

  4. The Very Rainy Day It started with a drop on my head. I was outside. Then it started to rain heavier and heavier and it started to flood. I asked my Dad of I could go on the computer and he said “Yes.” I went upstairs on the computer but I could not turn it on because the rain had cut all the power lines. Then the rain got inside the house so I packed all of my toys in a box and then the sun came out and then out came a rainbow. By Talen One Rainy Day One rainy day a girl called Caitlyn was at her school. She was stuck in school for the whole day. Because it was flooding. “Oh no!” said Caitlyn. She couldn’t do anything but stay there. Then she had an idea. “I know. We can make a flag. Does anyone have a jersey?” “I do” said a boy. His name is Jason. Caitlyn said “Good.” and she wrote SOS. Then a helicopter came and they were saved. By Beth

  5. The Rainy Day Once upon a time there lived a girl named Maisy. She was playing outside. When she was playing she felt a drop on her nose. It was cold. Maisy asked her Mum if it was raining. She said “Yes Maisy. It is raining.” Then she got bored. She wanted to play with her cat and dog. Then she looked out the window and she saw it was hailing. She went out to check if it feels like ice and it didn’t. She wanted to show her Mum. She was cooking dinner in the kitchen. By the time she was in the kitchen it melted. Then she asked if she could go on the computer. She said “Yes Maisy.” When she hopped on the world flooded so it wouldn’t turn on. She was disappointed. Then she looked out the window. She saw a block of hail smashing on the electric line so she couldn’t go on. The end By Esha

  6. Rain One day it started to drip. This story is about a girl called Beatrice and a boy called Luke. They were cold because they were outside and it started to rain more than a drip. The rain got harder and harder and harder so Beatrice and Luke went inside. Beatrice was sad because she wanted to play outside. Mum said “Why are you sad?” “I want to go outside.” said Beatrice. “Then go outside.” said Mum. “I can’t.” said Beatrice. “Why?” “Because it is raining.” “Then go on the computer.” said Mum. “I don’t want to go on the computer.” said Beatrice. “Luke” said Mum “What can Beatrice do?” “I don’t know,” said Luke “should I look out of the window?” “Yes.” said Mum. “Oh no’ said Luke. “What?” said Mum. “It’s flooding.” “Oh no!” said Mum. Soon the rain stopped. Beatrice was the first to wake up because they slept in the day. Beatrice knew that it stopped raining. Luke and Mum didn’t know so Beatrice tried waking them up. Mum and Luke woke up. “Why did you wake us up Beatrice?” said Mum. “I wanted to tell you that it stopped raining.” “Good” said Mum. “And I think that it stopped flooding.” “How?” “I woke up in the middle of the day.” “Yay.” By Ishta

  7. Rain on the Roof One day it started to rain and it would not stop. I ran home and started to dry myself. I asked Mum if I could have a piece of blueberry cake. But she was busy doing dinner. So I just helped myself. When I had a piece Mum caught me. But Mum saw something. It was a flood. We quickly ran to the car to get Dad. When we were at home, we dried up the flood but there was something else. There was a hole in the roof. We covered it up. Then the rain stopped and the son came out and we had a rest. We know what happened and we do not want it to happen again. The end. By Aroha-Mae

  8. Rain on the Roof Hi my name is Dominique. It rained on the doors. It rained on my face. It really hurts. The rain is falling down from the sky. The rain is blowing around outside.
