Introduction • The ratio of women enrolled as branches of the total of students in each branch, moving within a range of 29.5% to the Scientific and Technical Branch, 72.2% to the branch humanities, and 66.5% to branch of Health Sciences [1]. • In high school, women who choose science options are a minority in the form of technology, while prevailing in arts and humanities [8]. • Existing computer engineering studies at the University of Almeria is Informatics Engineer with 2 years for curricula, after made 3 years of curricula of ITIS (Computer Engineering Systems) or ITIG (Computer Engineering Management).

  3. Introduction • In the PFC regulation of the possible modalities is: Technical Project (PT), Technical Working (TT), Research monograph (MI) and Practices in a company (PE). • “Each project will be led by one or two directors, of which at least one must be a professor at the University of Almería belonging to an area of ​​knowledge related to the curriculum” and “Project Director of Technical Project (PT) or Technical Working (TT), will be held for at least one teacher with specific technical training (Engineer)”. • In addition "to the mode of Practices in a company (PE) will need to show a minimum of 6 months for medium-level qualifications (ITI) and 12 months for higher-level degrees (IA) in the enterprise where work practices are carried out, under the employment contract as approved by the INEM, titled level intermediate or higher level as appropriate ".

  4. Objective This paper examines the gender preferences of computer engineering in the choice of the mode of final project at the University of Almeria since its introduction to the plan of 1999 to the present.
