Exercise: CurrMIT Structure • Use the diagram on the next page to indicate how the following might be set up in CurrMIT • Introduction to Clinical Medicine, for the Class of 2003 in their first academic year. Within that course, Dr. Redmond organizes two different sets of meetings: • 1) A small group discussion on History-taking on January 12. Students are divided into two groups, one from Noon - 2 PM, which Dr. Redmond facilitates, and one from 2 - 4 PM, which Dr. Arlene facilitates. • 2) A lecture, co-delivered by Dr. Arlene and Dr. Redmond on doctor/patient relationships, on January 31 from 1 to 3 p.m. • Students are assessed in an OSCE and by taking a Multiple Choice Exam. • The small group discussions are held in Jones Hall #456, and the lecture is held in the Main Classroom Building Auditorium.
