German Stock Exchange • The entire German Stock Exchange consists of eight stock exchanges situated in different parts of the country. • All of these Stock Exchanges are enormously potent and significant to the world economy. • Being the largest in Europe, the German economy is a close third behind those of the US & Japan. • Germany ranks among the wealthiest of nations.

Stock Exchange in Berlin • The Börse Berlin Stock Exchange located in Berlin, Germany has secondary stock listings for over 6,000 US securities. • Most of them are normally listed on the NYSE, NASDAQ, AMEX, OTCBB, and pink sheet markets. • In September 2007 Börse Berlin AG, operator of one of Germanys oldest stock exchanges, acquired control over London based Equiduct Systems in order to offer new state-of-the art stock exchange services to financial institutions trading in the European markets.

Frankfurt Stock Exchange • The Frankfurt stock market is Germany's leading stock exchange, serving over 90% of the German market. • Out of the 300 market participants in the Frankfurt stock market, nearly 50% of these are from foreign countries. • The Frankfurt stock market is part of the Deutsche Borse and is one of the world's first stock exchanges. • As a stocks trade-place, the Frankfurt stock market is the third largest exchange in the world.
