Clark Planetarium. Interactive exhibits. Star shows. Why the Clark Planetarium is my Favorite place. I love learning about space and science. I went to the Hansen Planetarium when I was younger and have great memories of it. I love the dome shows.

  7. When was it started? • In 1965 the Hansen Planetarium was created at 15 south and State Street in downtown SLC • In April 2003 it moved to the new Gateway mall. • Paid for by the Clark Foundation

Astronomy Day May 11, 2011 • Saturday is Astronomy Day in Utah, with free star parties, demonstrations, hands-on activities for children, the chance to win a free telescope and $1 admission to shows in Clark Planetarium's Hansen Dome Theater. Most of the events are scheduled at Clark Planetarium, which is located in downtown Salt Lake City at The Gateway shopping center. Go HERE for a schedule of events and activities.
