This final report presents the findings of a household survey conducted to determine the percentage of rural households in Punjab with access to safe and adequate water throughout the year. Commissioned by the State Program Management Cell of the Department of Water Supply and Sanitation, Punjab, the baseline data aims to inform policies and interventions for improving water quality and access in rural areas. This comprehensive study was submitted in January 2010 by the Centre for Social Research, a division of AC Nielsen ORG-MARG Pvt. Ltd.
