  2. فقام رؤوس اباء يهوذا و بنيامين و الكهنة و اللاويون مع كل من نبه الله روحه ليصعدوا ليبنوا بيت الرب الذي في اورشليم. و كل الذين حولهم اعانوهم بانية فضة و بذهب و بامتعة و ببهائم و بتحف فضلا عن كل ما تبرع به. Then the heads of the fathers' [houses] of Judah and Benjamin, and the priests and the Levites, with all whose spirits God had moved, arose to go up and build the house of the LORD which [is] in Jerusalem. And all those who [were] around them encouraged them with articles of silver and gold, with goods and livestock, and with precious things, besides all [that] was willingly offered.

  3. و الملك كورش اخرج انية بيت الرب التي اخرجها نبوخذناصر من اورشليم و جعلها في بيت الهته. اخرجها كورش ملك فارس عن يد مثرداث الخازن و عدها لشيشبصر رئيس يهوذا. (عز 1 : 5 – 8) King Cyrus also brought out the articles of the house of the LORD, which Nebuchadnezzar had taken from Jerusalem and put in the temple of his gods; and Cyrus king of Persia brought them out by the hand of Mithredath the treasurer, and counted them out to Sheshbazzar the prince of Judah. (Ezr 1 : 5 – 8)

  4. شيشبصر (زربابل) Sheshbazzar (Zerubbabel) الظروف The circumstances و جميع انية بيت الله الكبيرة و الصغيرة و خزائن بيت الرب و خزائن الملك و رؤسائه اتى بها جميعا الى بابل. و احرقوا بيت الله و هدموا سور اورشليم و احرقوا جميع قصورها بالنار و اهلكوا جميع انيتها الثمينة. And all the articles from the house of God, great and small, the treasures of the house of the LORD, and the treasures of the king and of his leaders, all these he took to Babylon. Then they burned the house of God, broke down the wall of Jerusalem, burned all its palaces with fire, and destroyed all its precious possessions.

  5. شيشبصر (زربابل) Sheshbazzar (Zerubbabel) و سبى الذين بقوا من السيف الى بابل فكانوا له و لبنيه عبيدا الى ان ملكت مملكة فارس. لاكمال كلام الرب بفم ارميا حتى استوفت الارض سبوتها لانها سبتت في كل ايام خرابها لاكمال سبعين سنة. And those who escaped from the sword he carried away to Babylon, where they became servants to him and his sons until the rule of the kingdom of Persia, to fulfill the word of the LORD by the mouth of Jeremiah, until the land had enjoyed her Sabbaths. As long as she lay desolate she kept Sabbath, to fulfill seventy years.

  6. شيشبصر (زربابل) Sheshbazzar (Zerubbabel) و في السنة الاولى لكورش ملك فارس لاجل تكميل كلام الرب بفم ارميا نبه الرب روح كورش ملك فارس فاطلق نداء في كل مملكته و كذا بالكتابة قائلا. هكذا قال كورش ملك فارس Now in the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, that the word of the LORD by the mouth of Jeremiah might be fulfilled, the LORD stirred up the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia, so that he made a proclamation throughout all his kingdom, and also [put it] in writing, saying,. Thus says Cyrus king of Persia:

  7. شيشبصر (زربابل) Sheshbazzar (Zerubbabel) ان الرب اله السماء قد اعطاني جميع ممالك الارض و هو اوصاني ان ابني له بيتا في اورشليم التي في يهوذا من منكم من جميع شعبه الرب الهه معه و ليصعد (2أخ 36 : 18 – 23) All the kingdoms of the earth the LORD God of heaven has given me. And He has commanded me to build Him a house at Jerusalem which is in Judah. Who [is] among you of all His people? May the LORD his God [be] with him, and let him go up! (2 Ch 36 : 18 – 23)

  8. شيشبصر (زربابل) Sheshbazzar (Zerubbabel) و هؤلاء هم بنو الكورة الصاعدون من سبي المسبيين الذين سباهم نبوخذناصر ملك بابل الى بابل و رجعوا الى اورشليم و يهوذا كل واحد الى مدينته. الذين جاءوا مع زربابل يشوع نحميا سرايا رعلايا مردخاي بلشان مسفار بغواي رحوم بعنة عدد رجال شعب اسرائيل. (2عز 2 : 1 – 2) Now these [are] the people of the province who came back from the captivity, of those who had been carried away, whom Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon had carried away to Babylon, and who returned to Jerusalem and Judah, everyone to his own city. Those who came with Zerubbabel were Jeshua, Nehemiah, Seraiah, Reelaiah, Mordecai, Bilshan, Mispar, Bigvai, Rehum, and Baanah. The number of the men of the people of Israel:. (Ezr 2:1-2)

  9. صفات زربابل كقائد Characteristics of Zerubbabelas a leader و لما استهل الشهر السابع و بنو اسرائيل في مدنهم اجتمع الشعب كرجل واحد الى اورشليم. و قام يشوع بن يوصاداق و اخوته الكهنة و زربابل بن شالتئيل و اخوته و بنوا مذبح اله اسرائيل ليصعدوا عليه محرقات And when the seventh month had come, and the children of Israel [were] in the cities, the people gathered together as one man to Jerusalem. Then Jeshua the son of Jozadak and his brethren the priests, and Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel and his brethren, arose and built the altar of the God of Israel, to offer burnt offerings on it,

  10. صفات زربابل كقائد Characteristics of Zerubbabelas a leader كما هو مكتوب في شريعة موسى رجل الله. و اقاموا المذبح في مكانه لانه كان عليهم رعب من شعوب الاراضي و اصعدوا عليه محرقات للرب محرقات الصباح و المساء. و حفظوا عيد المظال كما هو مكتوب و محرقة يوم فيوم بالعدد كالمرسوم امر اليوم بيومه. (عز 3 : 1 – 4) as it is written in the Law of Moses the man of God. Though fear had come upon them because of the people of those countries, they set the altar on its bases; and they offered burnt offerings on it to the LORD, both the morning and evening burnt offerings. They also kept the Feast of Tabernacles, as [it is] written, and [offered] the daily burnt offerings in the number required by ordinance for each day. (Ezr 3 : 1 – 4)

  11. صفات زربابل كقائد Characteristics of Zerubbabelas a leader الحرص على العبادة والاتزام بالشريعة Abiding by worship and following the law الحرص على وحدانية القلب (كرجل واحد) Abiding by the unity of the heart (as one man) الحرص على النظام (System) وتوزيع المسئوليات Following the system and distribution responsibilities

  12. صفات زربابل كقائد Characteristics of Zerubbabelas a leader و في السنة الثانية من مجيئهم الى بيت الله الى اورشليم في الشهر الثاني شرع زربابل بن شالتئيل و يشوع بن يوصاداق و بقية اخوتهم الكهنة و اللاويين و جميع القادمين من السبي الى اورشليم و اقاموا اللاويين من ابن عشرين سنة فما فوق للمناظرة على عمل بيت الرب. (عز 3 : 8) Now in the second month of the second year of their coming to the house of God at Jerusalem, Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, Jeshua the son of Jozadak, and the rest of their brethren the priests and the Levites, and all those who had come out of the captivity to Jerusalem, began [work] and appointed the Levites from twenty years old and above to oversee the work of the house of the LORD. (Ezr 3 : 8)

  13. صفات زربابل كقائد Characteristics of Zerubbabel as a leader و لما اسس البانون هيكل الرب اقاموا الكهنة بملابسهم بابواق وللاويين بني اساف بالصنوج لتسبيح الرب على ترتيب داود ملك اسرائيل. و غنوا بالتسبيح و الحمد للرب لانه صالح لان الى الابد رحمته على اسرائيل When the builders laid the foundation of the temple of the LORD, the priests stood in their apparel with trumpets, and the Levites, the sons of Asaph, with cymbals, to praise the LORD, according to the ordinance of David king of Israel. And they sang responsively, praising and giving thanks to the LORD: "For [He is] good, For His mercy [endures] forever toward Israel"

  14. صفات زربابل كقائد Characteristics of Zerubbabel as a leader و كل الشعب هتفوا هتافا عظيما بالتسبيح للرب لاجل تاسيس بيت الرب. و كثيرون من الكهنة و اللاويين و رؤوس الاباء الشيوخ الذين راوا البيت الاول بكوا بصوت عظيم عند تاسيس هذا البيت Then all the people shouted with a great shout, when they praised the LORD, because the foundation of the house of the LORD was laid. But many of the priests and Levites and heads of the fathers' [houses,] old men who had seen the first temple, wept with a loud voice when the foundation of this temple

  15. صفات زربابل كقائد Characteristics of Zerubbabel as a leader امام اعينهم و كثيرون كانوا يرفعون اصواتهم بالهتاف بفرح. و لم يكن الشعب يميز هتاف الفرح من صوت بكاء الشعب لان الشعب كان يهتف هتافا عظيما حتى ان الصوت سمع من بعد (عز 3 : 10 – 13) was laid before their eyes. Yet many shouted aloud for joy, so that the people could not discern the noise of the shout of joy from the noise of the weeping of the people, for the people shouted with a loud shout, and the sound was heard afar off(Ezr 3 : 10 – 13)

  17. صفات زربابل كقائد Characteristics of Zerubbabel as a leader ولما سمع اعداء يهوذا وبنيامين ان بني السبي يبنون هيكلا للرب اله اسرائيل. تقدموا الى زربابل ورؤوس الاباء وقالوا لهم نبني معكم لاننا نظيركم نطلب الهكم وله قد ذبحنا من ايام اسرحدون ملك اشور الذي اصعدنا الى هنا. Now when the adversaries of Judah and Benjamin heard that the descendants of the captivity were building the temple of the LORD God of Israel, they came to Zerubbabel and the heads of the fathers' houses, and said to them, "Let us build with you, for we seek your God as you do; and we have sacrificed to Him since the days of Esarhaddon king of Assyria, who brought us here".

  18. صفات زربابل كقائد Characteristics of Zerubbabel as a leader فقال لهم زربابل و يشوع و بقية رؤوس اباء اسرائيل ليس لكم و لنا ان نبني بيتا لالهنا و لكننا نحن وحدنا نبني للرب اله اسرائيل كما امرنا الملك كورش ملك فارس. But Zerubbabel and Jeshua and the rest of the heads of the fathers' [houses] of Israel said to them, "You may do nothing with us to build a house for our God; but we alone will build to the LORD God of Israel, as King Cyrus the king of Persia has commanded us".

  19. صفات زربابل كقائد Characteristics of Zerubbabel as a leader و كان شعب الارض يرخون ايدي شعب يهوذا و يذعرونهم عن البناء. و استاجروا ضدهم مشيرين ليبطلوا مشورتهم كل ايام كورش ملك فارس و حتى ملك داريوس ملك فارس. (عز 4 : 1 - 5) Then the people of the land tried to discourage the people of Judah. They troubled them in building, and hired counselors against them to frustrate their purpose all the days of Cyrus king of Persia, even until the reign of Darius king of Persia. (Ezr 4 : 1 - 5) التشجيع والاصرار على الهدف Encouragement and insistence to achieve the target

  20. مواجهة التحديات Facing the challenges لكي يفتش في سفر اخبار ابائك فتجد في سفر الاخبار وتعلم ان هذه المدينة مدينة عاصية ومضرة للملوك والبلاد و قد عملوا عصيانا في وسطها منذ الايام القديمة لذلك اخربت هذه المدينة. و نحن نعلم الملك انه اذا بنيت هذه المدينة واكملت اسوارها لا يكون لك عند ذلك نصيب في عبر النهر (عز 4 : 15 – 16) that search may be made in the book of the records of your fathers. And you will find in the book of the records and know that this city is a rebellious city, harmful to kings and provinces, and that they have incited sedition within the city in former times, for which cause this city was destroyed. We inform the king that if this city is rebuilt and its walls are completed, the result will be that you will have no dominion beyond the River(Ezr 4 :15-16)

  21. مواجهة التحديات Facing the challenges فالان اخرجوا امرا بتوقيف اولئك الرجال فلا تبنى هذه المدينة حتى يصدر مني امر. فاحذروا من ان تقصروا عن عمل ذلك لماذا يكثر الضرر لخسارة الملوك. حينئذ لما قرئت رسالة ارتحششتا الملك امام رحوم و شمشاي الكاتب ورفقائهما ذهبوا بسرعة الى اورشليم الى اليهود و اوقفوهم بذراع و قوة. (عز 4 : 21 – 23) Now give the command to make these men cease, that this city may not be built until the command is given by me. Take heed now that you do not fail to do this. Why should damage increase to the hurt of the kings?. Now when the copy of King Artaxerxes' letter was read before Rehum, Shimshai the scribe, and their companions, they went up in haste to Jerusalem against the Jews, and by force of arms made them cease. (Ezr4:21-23)

  22. مواجهة التحديات Facing the challenges الصمود أمام الفشل ... المؤقت Steadfastness in facing failures … temporarily التأثر الروحي والتأثير الروحي The spiritual impact one oneself and on others

  23. مواجهة التحديات Facing the challenges فتنبا النبيان حجي النبي و زكريا ابن عدو لليهود الذين في يهوذا و اورشليم باسم اله اسرائيل عليهم. حينئذ قام زربابل بن شالتئيل و يشوع بن يوصاداق و شرعا ببنيان بيت الله الذي في اورشليم و معهما انبياء الله يساعدونهما. (عز 5 : 1 - 2) Then the prophet Haggai and Zechariah the son of Iddo, prophets, prophesied to the Jews who [were] in Judah and Jerusalem, in the name of the God of Israel, [who was] over them. So Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel and Jeshua the son of Jozadak rose up and began to build the house of God which [is] in Jerusalem; and the prophets of God [were] with them, helping them. (Ezr 5 : 1 - 2)

  24. مواجهة التحديات Facing the challenges فاجاب و كلمني قائلا هذه كلمة الرب الى زربابل قائلا لا بالقدرة و لا بالقوة بل بروحي قال رب الجنود. من انت ايها الجبل العظيم امام زربابل تصير سهلا فيخرج حجر الزاوية بين الهاتفين كرامة كرامة له. So he answered and said to me: "This is the word of the LORD to Zerubbabel: 'Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,' Says the LORD of hosts. Who are you, O great mountain? Before Zerubbabel you shall become a plain! And he shall bring forth the capstone With shouts of "Grace, grace to it!" ' ".

  25. مواجهة التحديات Facing the challenges و كانت الي كلمة الرب قائلا. ان يدي زربابل قد اسستها هذا البيت فيداه تتممانه فتعلم ان رب الجنود ارسلني اليكم. (زك 4 : 6 - 9) Moreover the word of the LORD came to me, saying:. "The hands of Zerubbabel Have laid the foundation of this temple; His hands shall also finish it Then you will know That the LORD of hosts has sent Me to you. (Zak 4 : 6 – 9)

  26. مواجهة الصعوبات Facing the difficulties حينئذ سمع زربابل بن شالتيئيل و يهوشع بن يهوصادق الكاهن العظيم و كل بقية الشعب صوت الرب الههم و كلام حجي النبي كما ارسله الرب الههم و خاف الشعب امام وجه الرب. فقال حجي رسول الرب برسالة الرب لجميع الشعب قائلا انا معكم يقول الرب. Then Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, and Joshua the son of Jehozadak, the high priest, with all the remnant of the people, obeyed the voice of the LORD their God, and the words of Haggai the prophet, as the LORD their God had sent him; and the people feared the presence of the LORD. Then Haggai, the LORD's messenger, spoke the LORD's message to the people, saying, "I am with you, says the LORD".

  27. مواجهة الصعوبات Facing the difficulties و نبه الرب روح زربابل بن شالتيئيل والي يهوذا و روح يهوشع بن يهوصادق الكاهن العظيم و روح كل بقية الشعب فجاءوا و عملوا الشغل في بيت رب الجنود الههم. (حج 1 : 12 – 14) So the LORD stirred up the spirit of Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and the spirit of Joshua the son of Jehozadak, the high priest, and the spirit of all the remnant of the people; and they came and worked on the house of the LORD of hosts, their God,. (Hag 1 : 12 – 14)

  28. مواجهة الصعوبات Facing the difficulties كلم زربابل والي يهوذا قائلا اني ازلزل السماوات و الارض. و اقلب كرسي الممالك و ابيد قوة ممالك الامم و اقلب المركبات و الراكبين فيها و ينحط الخيل و راكبوها كل منها بسيف اخيه. "Speak to Zerubbabel, governor of Judah, saying: 'I will shake heaven and earth. I will overthrow the throne of kingdoms; I will destroy the strength of the Gentile kingdoms. I will overthrow the chariots And those who ride in them; The horses and their riders shall come down, Every one by the sword of his brother.

  29. مواجهة الصعوبات Facing the difficulties في ذلك اليوم يقول رب الجنود اخذك يا زربابل عبدي ابن شالتيئيل يقول الرب و اجعلك كخاتم لاني قد اخترتك يقول رب الجنود (حج 2 : 21 – 23) In that day,' says the LORD of hosts, 'I will take you, Zerubbabel My servant, the son of Shealtiel,' says the LORD, 'and will make you like a signet [ring;] for I have chosen you,' says the LORD of hosts“ (Hag 2 : 21 – 23)

  30. مواجهة الصعوبات Facing the difficulties في ذلك الزمان جاء اليهم تتناي والي عبر النهر وشتر بوزناي ورفقاؤهما وقالوا لهم هكذا من امركم ان تبنوا هذا البيت وتكملوا هذا السور. حينئذ اخبرناهم على هذا المنوال ما هي اسماء الرجال الذين يبنون هذا البناء. At the same time Tattenai the governor of [the region] beyond the River and Shethar-Boznai and their companions came to them and spoke thus to them: "Who has commanded you to build this temple and finish this wall?". Then, accordingly, we told them the names of the men who were constructing this building.

  31. مواجهة الصعوبات Facing the difficulties وكانت على شيوخ اليهود عين الههم فلم يوقفوهم حتى وصل الامر الى داريوس وحينئذ جاوبوا برسالة عن هذا(عز5 :3- 5) But the eye of their God was upon the elders of the Jews, so that they could not make them cease till a report could go to Darius. Then a written answer was returned concerning this [matter]. (Ezr 5 : 3 - 5) المثابرة والشجاعة وتَدَخُل الله Perseverance, courage and God’s interference

  32. النهضة والعودة من السبي The renaissance and the return from captivity حينئذ تتناي والي عبر النهر و شتر بوزناي و رفقاؤهما عملوا عاجلا حسبما ارسل داريوس الملك. و كان شيوخ اليهود يبنون و ينجحون حسب نبوة حجي النبي و زكريا ابن عدو فبنوا و اكملوا حسب امر اله اسرائيل و امر كورش و داريوس و ارتحششتا ملك فارس. Then Tattenai, governor of the region beyond the River, Shethar-Boznai, and their companions diligently did according to what King Darius had sent. So the elders of the Jews built, and they prospered through the prophesying of Haggai the prophet and Zechariah the son of Iddo. And they built and finished it, according to the commandment of the God of Israel, and according to the command of Cyrus, Darius, and Artaxerxes king of Persia.

  33. النهضة والعودة من السبي The renaissance and the return from captivity و كمل هذا البيت في اليوم الثالث من شهر اذار في السنة السادسة من ملك داريوس الملك. (عز 6 : 13 – 15) Now the temple was finished on the third day of the month of Adar, which was in the sixth year of the reign of King Darius. (Ezr 6 : 13- 15)

  34. النهضة والعودة من السبي The renaissance and the return from captivity و عملوا عيد الفطير سبعة ايام بفرح لان الرب فرحهم و حول قلب ملك اشور نحوهم لتقوية ايديهم في عمل بيت الله اله اسرائيل (عز 6 : 22) And they kept the Feast of Unleavened Bread seven days with joy; for the LORD made them joyful, and turned the heart of the king of Assyria toward them, to strengthen their hands in the work of the house of God, the God of Israel (Ezr 6 : 22)
