  2. Healing is not a simple 1-2-3 formula that will lead to an automatic restoration of 100% efficiency of an individual. True healing is not linear. You can’t expect someone undergoing depression to just wake up one day and decide “now I don’t want to die”. Healing can take months, sometimes years and it may have backslid along its way. 01

  4. Here are Some Tips For Emotional Healing

  5. 1. Be yourself Ask what you want, set boundaries, have your own beliefs and opinions, stand up for your values, wear the clothes you want to wear, eat the food you want to eat, say the things you want to say

  6. 2. Invent yourself Rreduce your emotional distress by deciding to become a person who will experience less emotional distress, by finding the potential withng yourself. 01

  7. 3. Get a grip on your mind Identifying the thoughts that don’t serve us, substitute them with more useful thoughts.

  8. 4. Flip the anxiety switch off Try—breathing techniques, cognitive techniques, relaxation techniques, and so on—but the best way to overcome anxiety is to locate that “Inner switch” that controls your anxious nature 01

  9. 5. Journaling Writing down our thoughts and our pain is a healthy way to release those emotional wounds that are still alive and deep.

  10. 6. Practice Mindfulness Focus on the present moment, while calmly acknowledging and accepting your feelings, thoughts, and bodily sensations. 01

  11. 7. Turn your wounds into wisdom Turn your difficulties into opportunities. Let your pain make you better, not bitter.

  12. 8. Realize that no pain is forever Don’t let a bad and painful experience make you feel like you have a bad and painful life. Healing takes time but it is meant to happen. 01
