First, let me introduce myself • Santa Rosa Junior College- 1 District, 2 campuses • Enrollment Spring 2004: 25,164 (10% down from 03) • Program is 97% Health Fee funded • Maximum Health Fee charged (increase for Fall) • BOGW rate 22% and rising (up 7% in 2 yrs) • BOGW losses 03-04 ~$180,000 • No mandated costs claims filed in past • Surplus maintained by end of 2002-2003: 30% of annual baseline budget expenditures • Surplus expected at end of 2004 –2005: $-0- • Health Services Plan is Board approved • Clinical model – NP with MD and Psychologist contracts
