May 20th, Gama arrived at Calicut, IndiaOctober 5th, Vasco Da Gama started his journey back to Portugal 1502 The king sent Vasco Da Gama on another voyage to India 1467, he sailed from Port Tagus to find a sea route to india 1498: In Zambezi his ships were attacked by the Arabs 1460: Vasco is born 1499 He went back to Portugal and was called ‘Admiral of the Indian Ocean’
