  2. Your final Respiratory Lab should Include: 1 In situ drawing of the system 1 ventral view of the removed sys. 1 dorsal view of the removed sys. 1 superior view of the larynx 5 predictions on histology Your lab drawing rubric from the cardio Lab.

  3. Ventral View of Respiratory System in situ • Label: Larynx, Trachea, Right and Left Primary Bronchi, Rt. And Lf. Cardiac Lobe, Rt. And Lf. Diaphragmatic Lobes, Rt. Apical Lobe, Rt. Intermediate Lobe, and the Diaphragm.

  4. System Removal • Identify the most cranial portion of the Larynx. Cut the larynx and pull it away from the thoracic cavity very carefully. • Identify the esophagus and pull it away from the air passages as you carefully remove the respiratory system. • Draw a dorsal and ventral view of the removed system labeling all structures you can see.

  5. Structure Dissections: • Larynx: observe the epiglottis. Draw it (superior view) at the top of the larynx (glottis) and esophagus and label all three pieces.
