  1. MLA CITATION Below the slides on your graphic organizer, record the following notes. Then complete your MLA citations.

  2. MLA Basics • Your citations must be on their own paper (slide). This page (slide) should be titled Works Cited, should be centered, and should be in Times New Roman, 12-point font. • Citations should be in alphabetical order. • The first line is NOT indented; however, each subsequent line IS. This is known as a hanging indent. • Titles of shorter works, such as poems or articles, should be in quotations. Titles of longer works, such as novels, should be italicized. • For websites, include all information that you can find.

  3. For www.mynextmove.org: Click on “Cite this Page” Copy the MLA citation And paste to your slide

  4. Forwww.bls.gov/ooh: Select the suggested citation And paste onto your Works Cited slide. Be sure to place sources in alphabetical order!

  5. For all other websites: • Go to www.citationmachine.net Select MLA style Select “Website”, then paste the URL into the Box. Click on “Search Websites”. Select the website, then continue to final step. Fill In any missing information that you can find (Year And publisher are usually at the bottom of the page). Copy and paste the citation onto your slide in Alphabetical order and with hanging indent.
