To watch a video on this please CLICK HERE • Paris attacks: Millions rally for unity in France BBC, January 11, 2015 EVENT More than three million people have taken part in unity marches across France after 17 people died during three days of deadly attacks in Paris. Up to 1.6m are estimated to have taken to the streets of the French capital. More than 40 world leaders joined the start of the Paris march, linking arms in an act of solidarity. The marchers wanted to demonstrate unity after the attacks on satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo, police officers, and a kosher supermarket. The French government said the rally turnout was the highest on record. World leaders, including British Prime Minister David Cameron, German Chancellor Angela Merkel, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, Malian President Ibrahim Boubacar Keita, EU President Donald Tusk, and Jordan's King Abdullah II joined the beginning of the Paris march. Marchers chanted "liberte" ("freedom") / "Charlie” in reference to Charlie Hebdo COMMENT The world has seen some terrible terrorist acts. 9/11, the tube bombing in London, the Madrid bombing of a train. But something about this attack in France galvanised world leaders to come together, link arms and join in a cry of FREEDOM in the streets of Paris. What caused 40 world leaders to come together? To understand the world reaction is to understand the significance of France. The Franks were a barbarian tribe who overran what we now know as France. Franks means Free or Freemen. They loved “liberty” (personal freedom) and believed passionately in the rights of man. It was this spirit that brought about the French revolution with the cry of LIBERTY (freedom). The French revolutionaries drew up the Declaration of the Rights of Man in 1789. From this eventually came the Human Rights Act of Europe. The Bible talks of all this in Revelation 16. Iron legs = Roman Empire divided into East and West • Ukraine conflict enters 'most deadly period', UN warns Daily Telegraph, January 23, 2015 The Ukraine conflict has entered its "most deadly period", the United Nations warned on Friday, as Pro-Russian separatists in eastern Ukraine rejected further peace talks and announced an offensive on all fronts. Alexander Zakharchenko, the head of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic, said he saw "no point" in further talks with Kiev. "There will be no more ceasefires and rotation," he said. "There will be no attempts to talk about ceasefire from our side," he said. "Kiev does not understand that we are now able to attack on three fronts at once.” Mr Zakharchenko said the goal of the new offensive was to seize control of the entire territory of Donetsk region, which the rebels claim is their legitimate territory. They currently control about one third of it. Earlier this week rebel forces inflicted a decisive defeat on Ukrainian troops at Donetsk airport, bringing to an end an eight month siege. EVENT Russian military forces are crossing into eastern Ukraine in large numbers. Things are really heating up. Five Russian armoured task forces crossed the border in last few days. This is a force of about 75 main battle tanks, 100 infantry fighting vehicles, 100 other armoured vehicles and fifty artillery systems. The top U.S. Army commander in Europe said that Russia has substantially increased its support for separatists in eastern Ukraine since a ceasefire agreement was reached last September. The White House and Pentagon have said they are reviewing Ukraine's requests for weapons. All this looks like full blown war in Europe is at hand. The crisis far from dying down is building up. This is East v West. This is Russia v America. This is King of North v king of South. This is Nebuchadnezzar's image – left leg and right leg. This is division & war. They will all agree to give him their power and authority. • Russia extends olive branch to Greeks CNBC, January 30, 2015 Russian Finance Minister Anton Siluanov told CNBC that Russia would consider giving financial help to debt-ridden Greece just days after the new Greek government questioned further European Union sanctions against Russia. Siluanov said Greece had not yet requested Russia for assistance, but he did not rule out an agreement between the two countries if Greece came asking. "Well, we can imagine any situation, so if such a petition is submitted to the Russian government, we will definitely consider it, but will take into account all the factors of our bilateral relationships between Russia and Greece, so that is all I can say. If it is submitted we will consider it," Siluanov told CNBC in an exclusive interview in Moscow on Thursday. Siluanov's comments come two days after Greece's new left-wing-led government distanced itself from calls to increase sanctions against Russia indicating that Greece could be looking east to Russia for support. EVENT There was a political earthquake in Europe last weekend as the Greeks voted for an ultra left wing government that promised to renegotiate the debt deal done with Europe last year. They want Europe to right off half its debt instead of paying it back. The German Chancellor, Angela Merkel, has ruled out any cancelling of debt but said she wanted Greece to stay in the Euro. And that is the issue. If Greece insists on cancellation of debt it might well force them out of the Euro. And then in comes Russia! Russia said this week they are prepared to help Greece financially. Russia would love to see Europe suffer and watch the Euro break up. It would be payback for them encroaching into its territories ie Ukraine. It is possible that 10 nations forge ahead in Europe and leave Greece (and others) behind… he COMMENT BIBLE QUOTE (Revelation 17:12 NLT)

Come quickly, all you nations everywhere. • NATO to set up command centres on Eastern flank Wall Street Journal, January 30, 2015 NATO will establish command centers in six of its eastern countries in coming months, Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg said Friday, in part of a beefed-up response to Russian aggressiveness. The outposts will form a chain of potential command centers for the North Atlantic Treaty Organization’s already announced new rapid-response force, which will consist of roughly 5,000 troops. Details are to be finalized at a meeting next week of NATO defence ministers. The centers also will provide a link between NATO and the armed forces of the six countries where they will be located—Poland, Romania, Bulgaria, Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia. Mr. Stoltenberg announced the new centers at a news conference in Brussels, where he also urged NATO allies to spend more on defence to counter Russia’s military budget. “This will be the biggest reinforcement of our collective defence since the end of the Cold War,” he said. EVENT “The biggest reinforcement of our collective defence since the end of the Cold War”! The command centers will open by 2016, when the spearhead force is scheduled to be in full operation. Each command centre will likely be staffed by about 50 military personnel from various NATO countries. The six centers will help manage the greatly increased NATO exercises being conducted in these countries near Russia. There is a fascinating BBC radio news clip about the situation with Russia that was aired this week. It only lasts 8 minutes but it is well worth listening to. He will cause astounding devastation and will succeed in whatever he does. • Merkel and Hollande on mission to avert 'total war’ Daily Telegraph, February 5, 2015 EVENT Europe's leaders were in last-ditch talks to broker a peace deal in Ukraine on Thursday night, as threats by America to send arms to Kiev raised fears of a direct confrontation between Russia and the West. Angela Merkel, the German chancellor, and François Hollande, the French president, began a two-day visit to Kiev and Moscow in an attempt to get both governments to sign a new ceasefire deal. The talks, which come amid an escalation in the fighting in eastern Ukraine, were an attempt by European capitals to head off moves by Washington to begin arming Ukrainian forces, who have so far been outgunned by the Kremlin-backed rebels. Reports that the White House might give direct military assistance to Kiev first emerged last weekend, when US officials hinted that the Pentagon was alarmed at the rapid gains made by the separatists in recent weeks. COMMENT Talks between the leaders of France, Germany and Russia to end the war in Ukraine ended without a breakthrough early on Saturday. The French leader said that this was one of the last chances to end the conflict. Total war is close if these talks fail. Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said he "sincerely" hoped the latest peace plan would "produce results". Putin is trying to divide Europe from America and Britain. He appears to be succeeding. The Bible talks of a latter day king of the north in Daniel 8. It says in the last days “when rebels have become completely wicked” a “fierce looking king will arise”. Interestingly those rising up in Ukraine are called “rebels” and Putin supports them. We are told that “by peace” he will “destroy many”. We are told he is master of “deceit”. US 'considers arming Ukrainian army’ Daily Telegraph, February 2, 2015 The spectre of a deepening proxy war in Ukraine involving both Russia and the United States has raised its head after reports that the White House is considering supplying weapons to Kiev. Washington has so far refused to supply weapons to the pro-Western Ukrainian government but reports suggest that a growing number of President Barack Obama's advisors are now warming to the idea. According to the New York Times, General Philip Breedlove, Nato's military commander, supports providing arms and equipment to Ukraine’s hard-pressed forces, which are struggling to quell an uprising led by Russian-backed separatists. Other senior officials including John Kerry, the US secretary of state, are also said to be open shifting American policy and beginning to send weapons to Kiev. It is not clear if the growing number of hawks will be able to sway Mr Obama, who has so far been reluctant to escalate the standoff with Russia. EVENT COMMENT A group of well-respected former US officials and academics released a new report on Monday arguing that the on-going fighting in Ukraine shows the need for Washington to begin arming Kiev's forces. "The West needs to bolster deterrence in Ukraine by raising the risks and costs to Russia of any renewed major offensive," the report says. And so we edge ever closer to America PUSHING at Russia. If America does arm the Ukrainian army could this be the push of Daniel 11:40? The word push is a military provocation. It is literally the word “gore”. If America does military provoke Russia we can see why Russia would descend down into the Middle East. The Russian bear has woken up and is starting to roar. S&P downgraded Greece to B- from B, one notch above default range, and kept the outlook on the nation at "negative", meaning further cuts to the rating are possible. The ratings agency said the amount of time Greece’s new government has to reach an agreement with its creditors over its €240bn bailout has shrunk, with its worst-case scenario seeing the country being forced to leave the euro after European funding dries up. S&P said the downgrade “reflects our view that the liquidity constraints weighing on Greece’s banks and its economy have narrowed the timeframe during which the new government can reach an agreement on a financing programme with its official creditors”. EVENT The new left-wing Greek government elected last week wants to reverse some of the reforms that Europe imposed when it received a huge bailout. Creditors who lent Athens €240bn to save it from bankruptcy obviously want the reforms to continue. The new Greek government wants some of this debt written off. A showdown is coming. How far will the Greek government push Europe? European leaders are telling Greece that they have the best deal already and they won’t renegotiate. If Greece does push Europe they may well be forced out of the Euro. There is no provision for a nation to leave the Euro. If it does happen we may well see other nations breakaway. This could then lead to a core group of inner nations forging ahead giving their power and strength to “the beast” i.e. the resurrected Holy Roman Empire COMMENT BIBLE QUOTE (Revelation 17:12-15 NIV)

And through his policy also he shall cause deceit to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by peace shall destroy many: he shall also stand up against the Prince of princes; but he shall be broken without hand. • Ukraine peace deal ‘in great danger’ BBC, February 14, 2015 EVENT Ukraine's president has warned that a deal to end the war in the east is in "great danger" after heavy fighting ahead of Saturday night's ceasefire. Petro Poroshenko also accused Russia of "significantly increasing" its offensive despite the peace agreement reached in Minsk on Thursday. The US ambassador to Ukraine that he said showed Russian artillery near Debaltseve. Shelling was heard in the rebel-held city of Donetsk early on Saturday. Fierce battles are said to be continuing around Debaltseve, a strategic government-held town almost encircled by rebel forces. The BBC's David Stern in Kiev says that as the clock ticks down to the ceasefire, fears are rising that it won't be observed. More than a dozen civilians are said to have died in shelling in eastern Ukraine on Friday. COMMENT The fighting is showing no signs of stopping. There are reports of heavy weapons coming across the border from Russia. The US ambassador to Ukraine, Geoffrey Pyatt, said that Russian units along the border were preparing a large shipment of supplies to separatist fighters. So what of the “peace agreement” reached only a few days ago? The agreement said that there is to be a general ceasefire from midnight on the 14th to 15th of February (Sunday). Two days later, heavy artillery and rocket systems are to be withdrawn from the front line. But will Putin do this? The trouble is he still denies any involvement in Ukraine by Russian forces. The Russian tanks and armoured vehicles are not Russian! So what is going on? Well the Bible tells us about Putin’s character! God says that the latter day king of the north is deceitful. In fact he causes deceit to prosper. He is a very proud man. “And by peace shall destroy many.” In other words he will pretend to be peaceful but in fact destruction is his aim. He will enter the glorious land of Israel, and many nations will fall • Britain not ruling out providing 'lethal force' in Ukraine Daily Telegraph, February 10, 2015 Britain could provide “lethal” force to assist the Ukrainian government in its fight against pro-Russian forces, Philip Hammond has suggested. The Foreign Secretary said that although the UK currently has no plans for any direct involvement in the conflict, the Government "reserved the right" to provide arms to stop the Ukrainian forces collapsing. Barack Obama, the American President, has ordered his officials to “look at all options” open to the United States, including providing weapons to halt the recent rebel advance in the east. The White House has said it will made a decision pending the success of a new peace initiative pushed last weekend by the German Chancellor, Angela Merkel. While Britain is not yet actively considering a move to send arms, Mr Hammond's comments put him odds with Ms Merkel, who explicitly stated last week that despatching weapons would merely worsen the conflict. EVENT he COMMENT Britain and America are watching closely developments in Ukraine. They appear far more willing to act against Russia than other European nations. The UK Foreign Secretary said this week that “we could not allow the Ukrainian armed forces to collapse.” He went on to say, “In recent weeks, Russia has aggravated the effects of its initial incursion by stepping up the military support it provides to its proxies. It has transferred hundreds of heavy weapons, including rocket launchers, heavy artillery, tanks and armoured vehicles and it maintains hundreds of regular soldiers, including special forces, in Ukraine as well as command and control elements, air defence systems, UAVs and electronic warfare systems.” Britain we know in the Bible is Tarshish, the old lion, the king of the south. The Bible is clear. Before Russia invades it is militarily provoked by the king of the south. That provocation could come in Ukraine. BIBLE QUOTE (Daniel 11:40-41 NLT)

The word “gore” used here is the same word for “push” in Daniel 11:40 where the king of the south pushes at the king of the north. The Hebrew word means to strike with a horn of wild animal (like a warthog!) U.S. sending 'tankbuster' jets to Russia's doorstep Daily Mail, February 13, 2015 The U.S. Air Force is sending 12 of its 'tankbuster' jets back Europe as part of the response to Russia's intervention in Ukraine. The European command revealed the group of A-10s will be deployed as part of Operation Atlantic Resolve which was set up last year after Putin's troops annexed Crimea. They will be stationed at Spangdahlem air base in Germany along with 300 airman so they can be called to action by Eastern European allies at short notice. Senior officials said the unit were being sent to reassure allies their commitment to European security is still a 'priority' following months of tension in the region. Designed in the 1970s, the aircraft also known as a Warthog was developed to support ground troops against the armoured tanks of the Soviet Union. Tom Jones, vice commander, United States Air Forces in Europe, said in a statement: 'The Air Force is increasing rotational presence in Europe to reassure our allies.’ EVENT COMMENT As Britain ups the rhetoric against Russia, America has begun to respond to the Russian aggression by sending a deployment of fearsome “tank busting” A-10 (known as the Warthog) aircraft to deter Russia from further aggression. The A-10 was used in combat for the first time during the Gulf War in 1991, destroying more than 900 Iraqi tanks, 2,000 other military vehicles and 1,200 artillery pieces. As the article says it was originally designed to combat Russian tanks. America is sending a clear message to Russia by sending these aircraft to Europe. And so Europe stands on the brink. The next 24 hours will show if Putin will abide by the ceasefire or not. If he doesn’t we may see the US and UK authorise military support of Ukraine. We may be on the brink of conflict. The word “attack” in this modern version is translated as “push” in the AV Putin suggests US Is sending arms to Ukraine Associated Press, February 18, 2015 Russian President Vladimir Putin is suggesting that the United States is already delivering weapons to Ukraine. At a news conference Tuesday in Budapest with Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban, Putin was asked how he assessed the possible consequences if the United States decides to supply lethal weapons to Ukraine in its fight against Russian-backed separatists. He answered that "according to our information, these weapons are already being delivered.” He said the new weapons for Ukraine could increase the number of victims but "the result will be the same as it is today. This is unavoidable.” EVENT COMMENT This is interesting… Putin said this week that according to Russian intelligence, America is already delivering weapons to Kiev. He said this in response to a question which asked whether a a shipment of lethal hardware from Washington to Kiev would fan the flames of war in eastern Ukraine. As Putin clearly believes the arming of Ukraine is already underway it may explain why he continues to pour in Russian tanks and missiles despite after agreeing the ceasefire. (see next slide for more info on this). In December the U.S. Congress did pass legislation authorising the sending of arms to Kiev. But while U.S. President Barack Obama has signed the measure into law, he has been hesitant to use the option, amid widespread warnings arming Kiev would be seen as a declaration of war. So America is not officially sending arms but may do so if the situation gets worse. What we know with Bible in hand is that there IS a military push against Russia by the king of the south (US/UK). Russia), the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal (both central Russia) , and prophesy against him, Persia (Iran), Ethiopia, and Libya with them; all of them with shield and helmet: Gomer (W.Turkey), and all his bands; the house of Togarmah (E.Turkey) – NO EUROPE! • Kiev accuses Russia of sending more tanks to Ukraine Reuters, February 20, 2015 Kiev accused Russia on Friday of sending more tanks and troops into eastern Ukraine and said they were heading towards the rebel-held town of Novoazovsk on the southern coast, expanding their presence on what it fears could be the next battlefront. Russia did not immediately respond to the accusation which, if confirmed, would go further to kill off a European-brokered truce that was met by relentless rebel advances after it came into force on Sunday. Moscow has always denied accusations in the past that its forces are fighting in Ukraine. Nevertheless, there were signs that the rebels may be prepared to halt their advance, having achieved their main military objective this week by seizing the strategic town of Debaltseve, where Kiev was forced to withdraw thousands of besieged troops this week. The black, blue and red flag of the rebels' self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic flew over the town hall. EVENT he COMMENT This ceasefire is in tatters. It is going the same way as the previous two ceasefires. Putin is keeping the conflict alive. It was reported that Russia sent in 20 tanks, 10 mobile rocket systems, and about 15 trucks into the area of Novoazovsk on Friday. So is this the beginning of Russia becoming an empire that stretches right across Europe? Is Europe going to become part of Russian dominion? The answer to that is no. Neither Daniel 2 or Ezekiel 38 describe a Russian empire controlling Europe. In fact Ezekiel 38 doesn’t describe any territory in what we would now call Western Europe. The only element that does creep into Europe is Magog. Magog originally covered eastern Ukraine as well as southern Russia. Russia therefore is taking that part back. The role of Europe under the influence of the Vatican is different. Europe / Vatican will launch a religious conflict against Christ and the saints. But Gog is defeated by then…. And I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them an heart of flesh: . • Netanyahu urges European Jews to move to Israel RT, February 15, 2015 Benjamin Netanyahu, the Israeli Prime Minister, has urged European Jews to immigrate to Israel following the shooting dead of a Danish Jew outside a Copenhagen synagogue on Sunday. Netanyahu announced the government will discuss Sunday a $46 million plan to encourage Jewish migration from Belgium, France and Ukraine and said at the start of a cabinet meeting that Israel is the home of all Jews. The shooting at the Krystalgade synagogue that killed a 38-year old Jewish security guard came just hours after another deadly shooting at a free-speech event featuring an artist who had caricatured the Prophet Muhammad. Five Danish police officers were also wounded in the shootings. Police said Sunday they had shot and killed the man who had carried out both the attacks. EVENT COMMENT Anti-Semitism is growing in Europe. A journalist this week decided to test how safe the streets of Paris are for Jews. He wore a religious skullcap and secretly filmed the public's reaction using a hidden camera. He walked silently in the city for ten hours. The video he took is shocking. The hidden camera footage shows anti-Semitism is rife in the French capital as he is seen harassed and intimidated. As he wanders around neighbourhoods wearing the garments associated with the Jewish faith, he is spat at, threatened and even called a 'dog’. It is against this backdrop that Netanyahu called this week fro Jews to return to Israel. Israel he said is the home of all Jews. He is right of course. We know there is to be another influx of Jews coming back to the land. There are still millions who live outside Israel. God will gather them all one day. BIBLE QUOTE (Ezekiel 11:17-19)

Asshur and Eber are territories currently occupied by ISIS. Britain is attacking ISIS from Cyprus! • Putin's Cyprus deal gives Russia a foothold in the EU Daily Telegraph, February 27, 2015 Russia has gained a military foothold in Europe after Vladimir Putin signed a controversial deal with Cyprus to dock warships there. British MPs said Nicosia’s decision to let the Russian navy, including heavily armed frigates, use its ports for counter-terrorism and anti-piracy was ‘worrying and disappointing’. Cyprus, an EU member, thrashed out the agreement despite already hosting two British military bases and 3,200 troops. President Putin insisted the deal ‘should not cause worries anywhere’. But Cypriot President Nicos Anastasiades, who was visiting Moscow, hinted Russian warplanes could also be allowed to use a military airbase in Paphos, on the south-west coast of the island. A senior British Army officer said: ‘This will be watched closely by London. We know Russia has long coveted a naval base in Cyprus. 'This is another sign we are creeping back into a new Cold War.’ EVENT This is a significant event. Russia is moving into the territory of the king of the south (Britain). Cyprus has long been linked with Britain. Cyprus is Kittim or Chittim in the Bible. It is only mentioned 8 times. The Bible shows that Britain and Cyprus are very close. 3 times Cyprus is mentioned with Tarshish (Britain). In Daniel 11:30 Cyprus is mentioned sending ships against the king of the north. In other words Cyprus was supporting the king of the south. In Isaiah 23:1 we read of the ships of Tarshish being based in Chittim. Even now Britain has two sovereign bases in Cyprus with 3200 troops based there. Britain is also using Cyprus as a base to launch attacks on ISIS in Iraq. And so Russia arriving with ships into Cyprus will be deeply concerning for Britain. It is a step towards Russia entering the Middle East. We know that Russia will come with “many ships”. Russia opts out of European Arms Control Treaty Associated Press, March 10, 2015 Russia says it will no longer attend consultations related to a key European arms control treaty, accusing the West of stonewalling its demands. The move comes as Russia-West relations have plunged to their lowest point since the Cold War times over the Ukrainian crisis. The 1990 Conventional Forces in Europe treaty limits the number of tanks, aircraft and other heavy non-nuclear weapons deployed on the continent. Russia suspended its participation in 2007, citing NATO countries' failure to ratify a new version signed in 1999. Russian diplomat Anton Mazur said in Tuesday's statement in Vienna that Russia will stop attending the meetings of a consultative group related to the agreement, meaning "the suspension has become full." He added, however, that Moscow is still open to further arms control talks.. EVENT COMMENT Ukraine may not be headline news at the moment but behind the scenes things are moving…and not in a peaceful direction. Russia (as reported above) pulled out of the European arms control treaty this week. In effect they are saying they no longer abide by the rules that limit the number of tanks etc that can be deployed. Then on Tuesday a senior U.S. State Department official said that Russian tanks and heavy military equipment have crossed the Ukrainian border in the last few days in breach of a European-brokered ceasefire agreed on February 12. He also gave Russia just days to fully implement the ceasefire. Ukraine remains the faultline between Russia and America. It is a faultline that could cause an earthquake which in turn could lead to many of the events prophesied in the Bible happening. Seeking to soothe talk of an "accidental" Grexit, Pierre Moscovici said any move to eject Greece from the bloc "would be a catastrophe - for the Greek economy, but also for the eurozone as a whole.” "If one country leaves this (monetary) union, the markets will immediately ask which country is next, and that could be the beginning of the end," the former French finance minister told Der Spiegel magazine. Mr Moscovici's comments come after days of fractious exchanges between Greece and its international creditors. EVENT Europe is not quite at the stage pictured in Revelation 17- yet. Revelation 17 tells of a beast that comes out of the bottomless pit. So in other words the beast disappeared into a black hole but then reappears again. The beast was originally the Roman Empire. But it then morphed into the Holy Roman Empire. The Holy Roman Empire was an Empire encompassing Germany, Switzerland, Austria, the Czech Republic, Belgium, the Netherlands and parts of Northern Italy, Belgium, the Netherlands, Poland and France. Notice no Greece, Spain, Portugal, Ireland, Britain etc. In fact if you remove Switzerland (who are not in the Euro) you have 10 nations. If Greece does exit the Euro we may well see a core group of 10 nations forge ahead - giving up their power and strength to a true political and religious union. The leaked report describes the capital as a city gripped by the worst “polarization and violence” since the second intifada of a decade ago. The document, which is an amalgamation of recommendations prepared by European diplomats stationed in the region, accuses the government of exacerbating tensions in the city by accelerating construction in the eastern part of the capital. According to The Guardian, the city has been beset by a “vicious cycle of violence... increasingly threatening the viability of the two-state solution.” The report goes on to say that Israel’s “systematic” construction of housing in “sensitive areas” has compounded the problem. EVENT It is not just America that is agitated against Israel. Europe is also looking to increase sanctions against Israel as well. Europe sees Israel’s building of property in and around east Jerusalem as provocative because they believe east Jerusalem will end up being part of the future Palestinian state. We know that Jerusalem will become a burdensome stone for all peoples that surround Israel. I.e. Israel’s immediate neighbours. We know this because Zechariah 12 is at pains to explain stage 1 of the final conflict. But the immediate neighbours, those nations that surround Israel, are spurred into action because of the wider support they feel they have from the wider world. Interestingly following the election Israel has decided to conduct snap military exercises around Gaza using air force and special operations, infantry, armour, artillery and engineering units. Sources close to the ruling Syriza party said the government is determined to keep public services running and pay pensions as funds run critically low. It may be forced to take the unprecedented step of missing a payment to the International Monetary Fund next week. Greece no longer has enough money to pay the IMF €458m on April 9 and also to cover payments for salaries and social security on April 14, unless the eurozone agrees to disburse the next tranche of its interim bail-out deal in time. Going into arrears at the IMF – even for a few days – is an extremely risky strategy. No developed country has ever defaulted to the IMF. While there would be a grace period of six weeks before the IMF board declared Greece to be in technical default, the process could spin out of control at various stages. EVENT Syriza, the left wing political government that was swept into power just weeks ago in Greece did so because it said it would renegotiate the harsh terms set by Europe on repaying its debt. But Europe won’t compromise and so a showdown between Greece and Europe continues. Syriza sources say are they fully aware that a tough line with creditors risks setting off an unstoppable chain-reaction. On April 10, the pro-Russian Ukrainian rebel leader who heads the Donetsk “People’s Republic” (DPR), Alexander Zakharchenko, warned that the conflict could resume, pointing to Kyiv’s reluctance to implement the Minsk Two agreement. In fact, Zakharchenko implied that the possible targets of a fresh rebel offensive might by the key cities of Mariupol (Mariupil) and Slavyansk—lost to the regular Ukrainian army last year. “The problem is that we must recover territories that were temporarily occupied, preferably by peaceful means,” he said on April 8 (PressTV, April 9). EVENT he COMMENT The World Economic Forum has released its yearly assessment of the biggest dangers facing the world over the next decade. In previous years the Global Risk Report has focused on the global economy. This year is very different. It says the biggest threat to world stability over the next 10 years is likely to come from geopolitical tensions. According to the report, the crisis in Ukraine, Russia's simmering tensions with Europe, and strained China-Japan relations are all evidence that the world's biggest powers have once again started engaging in strategic power struggles. This is the first time that geopolitical threats have topped the risk index. The world is destabilising before our eyes. The Bible says that the Gentiles will prepare for war. "The mood is notably more gloomy than at the last international gathering, and it is now clear to me that a misstep or a miscalculation by either side could easily return European economies to the kind of perilous situation we saw three or four years ago," he said. We need resilience for moments like this," he said. EVENT There is a worldwide financial crisis coming. In fact of course the whole financial system will collapse during the final time of trouble - never to rise again . Money will fail. We read about this in Isaiah 24 where we read that the buyer and the seller, the lender and the borrower will both be impacted when God empties and wastes the earth. Interestingly we know that Joseph is a type of Christ. Joseph who was rejected by his brothers eventually ruled of Egypt. Money failed in Egypt and everyone living in Egypt were forced to turn to Joseph for food and help. When Christ returns the people who are left will be forced to turn to him as money will have failed. We are also told the people gave Joseph their lands. In the aftermath of Russia’s annexation of Crimea and the invasion of eastern Ukraine, Finland is uniquely vulnerable to any further aggression. The letter tells the reservists which regiment or unit to report to in the event of hostilities. “Attached you will find your personal details as well as your role in the event of war,” it reads. EVENT War is coming. In fact World War 3 is coming. The final conflict – Armageddon. Events in Europe with Russia are the preparation for a war that will be centred in the Middle East. Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras's leftist government says it hopes to reach a cash-for-reforms deal in days, although European Union and IMF lenders are more pessimistic and say talks are moving too slowly for that. Payments to the IMF totalling about 1.5 billion euros ($1.7 billion) fall due next month, starting with a 300 million euro payment on June 5. "Now is the moment that negotiations are coming to a head. Now is the moment of truth, on June 5," Nikos Filis, spokesman for the ruling Syriza party's lawmakers, told ANT1 television. "If there is no deal by then that will address the current funding problem, they won't get any money," he said. EVENT Why are we interested in a technical default by one of the smallest economies in the European Union? The answer is that a default could cause Greece to exit the Euro. An exit of the Euro could then cause contagion that spreads. It could cause other weaker nations to exit. At the same time the UK is looking to have a referendum on whether to stay in or leave Europe. What we could then see is a core group of nations covering a similar territory to the ancient Holy Roman Empire emerge. Ten nations who become a superstate. A block that really do give their power and strength to the European beast. One government, one army, one superstate. It is the first time that a developed country has ever missed a payment to the IMF since the creation of the Bretton Woods institutions at the end of the Second World War. The news broke after the Athens stock exchange had closed but a bloodbath is feared when the bourse opens on Friday. Yields on two-year Greek bonds spiked 63 basis points to 21.8pc amid mounting fears of a deposit run on Greek banks and the imposition of capital controls as soon as this weekend. The IMF said it had been notified by the Greek authorities that they would pay the entire €1.6bn due this month on June 30, dusting down a procedure last used by Zambia in the 1980s. The shock move came as leaders of the ruling Syriza movement were locked in a series of emergency meetings to vent their fury over the latest austerity demands by the European creditor powers. EVENT Greece is still some way from formal default. If the country misses the payment on June 30 – a certainty unless one side or the other blinks – this will then set the clock ticking on a six-week process. Yet events risk spinning out of control much sooner if there is a collapse of confidence. Analysts warn that deposit flight was already running at €400m a day earlier this week and may now set off a fast-moving chain of events, leading to a temporary nationalisation of the banking system - if the European Central Bank cuts off the liquidity lifeline. And out of one of them came forth a little horn, which waxed exceeding great, [Antiochus Epiphanes] And the rough goat is the king of Grecia: • Greece turns to Russia over financial crisis International Business Times, June 5, 2015 Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras will meet Vladimir Putin on 18 June, fuelling fears that Athens might seek a deal with Moscow that would circumvent EU sanctions on Russia. Athens is looking to receive 5bn (3.65bn, $5.55bn) in advance payments from Russia by agreeing to become a central hub for a Russia-Europe gas pipeline.
The announcement of the meeting came as Tsipras told the Greek parliament that the EU was forcing "absurd" austerity measures on the cash-strapped country.
He accused the country's creditors of doing all they could to scupper a cash-for reforms deal that would give Greece a new injection of loans. He said the EU was pushing Athens towards default and the euro exit door, or Grexit.
"The creditors' proposals are unrealistic and a step back in negotiations," he told parliament. "The Greek government cannot agree to irrational proposals. Greek people should be proud because the government is not going to give into absurd proposals.” EVENT So here we have Russia possibly stepping in to support the Greek government. Putin wins on both counts. In effect he helps break-up the current European club (punishing them for punishing him) by enabling Greece to playhard ball with its creditors. He also gets a gas pipeline deal worth billions. As we said on a previous slide there is a definite Bible link between Greece and Russia in Daniel 8. The original little horn (mentioned in that chapter) that grew was in fact Antiochus Epiphanes who came out of Alexander the Great’s Greek Empire. We are told in v21 that the goat from which the horn came is Greek. Daniel 11 gives this king a different title – the king of the north. The latter day king of north Ezekiel 38 says is Russian. Greece and Russia are linked together. COMMENT BIBLE QUOTE (Daniel 8:8-9)

U.S. poised to put heavy weaponry in East Europe Daily Telegraph, June 13, 2015 In a significant move to deter possible Russian aggression in Europe, the Pentagon is poised to store battle tanks, infantry fighting vehicles and other heavy weapons for as many as 5,000 American troops in several Baltic and Eastern European countries, American and allied officials say. The proposal, if approved, would represent the first time since the end of the Cold War that the United States has stationed heavy military equipment in the newer NATO member nations in Eastern Europe that had once been part of the Soviet sphere of influence. Russia’s annexation of Crimea and the war in eastern Ukraine have caused alarm and prompted new military planning in NATO capitals. It would be the most prominent of a series of moves the United States and NATO have taken to bolster forces in the region and send a clear message of resolve to allies and to Russia’s president, Vladimir Putin, that the United States would defend the alliance’s members closest to the Russian frontier. EVENT COMMENT On Tuesday this week the US confirmed it will place 250 tanks, artillery pieces and fighting vehicles in seven eastern European countries as a bulwark against Russian aggression. Ash Carter, the US defence secretary, said Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia, Bulgaria, Romania and Poland will host equipment in order to reassure Nato countries alarmed by Russian action in Ukraine. General Yuri Yakubov, a senior official in the Russian defence ministry, condemned the "most aggressive step by the Pentagon and Nato" since the end of the Cold War. What we are witnessing here is the King of the North (Russia) being militarily provoked by the King of the South (America) as mentioned in Daniel 11:40. Alexis Tsipras called the shock vote, to be held on on July 5, having spent Friday night holed up in an emergency meeting with his cabinet. The question to be put before voters is whether or not the country is willing to submit to the conditions being demanded by the International Monetary Fund, European Union and European Central Bank. Speaking to Greek television in a dramatic address in the early hours of Saturday morning, Mr Tsipras said he would support a 'No' vote. "[Our creditors'] proposals, which clearly violate the European rules and the basic rights to work, equality and dignity show that the purpose of some of the partners and institutions was not a viable agreement for all parties, but possibly the humiliation of an entire people," said the prime minister. EVENT On Friday Greece rejected a €15bn rescue plan. Last night the prime minister of Greece announced a referendum and said he would support a no vote. Greece's finance minister Yanis Varoufakis said it was time for the people to decide the country's fate inside the single currency. On Tuesday Greece is supposed to make a loan repayment to the IMF of €1.6bn. Without a deal it does not have the money to make the payment. Capital controls in the form of deposit withdrawal limits could come as early as Monday, according to analysts at Credit Suisse. If Greece does leave the Euro the impacts will be enormous. Were the stakes not so high, all those emergency summits and last-minute demands would count as farce. Instead it is a tragedy, where an outcome that all sides say they do not want—Greece’s exit from the euro—seems increasingly likely. The chaos is evidence that leaving the euro would be disastrous for Greece, not least because modest gains from default and devaluation would be overwhelmed by political and economic instability. For the rest of Europe, too, “Grexit” has well-rehearsed risks, notably that of a failing state on the continent’s south-eastern flank. EVENT Tomorrow (Sunday) Greece has a referendum. Vote yes to accept the creditors terms or vote no to not accept them. If the people vote no then Greece will almost certainly be forced out of the Euro because they will have to start printing their own currency. If they vote yes the trouble is not over. The negotiations will just rumble on. The bottom line is that Greece is bankrupt many times over. It is a failed state economically. It is interesting that Greece is the home of democracy. It is where it began. But it is where it might end. The vote tomorrow could well bring about a new Europe. One where the stronger nations forge ahead in a united political union. The weaker ones are left behind. It would be a resurrected Holy Roman Empire. The 4th Reich. Greece's parliament overnight backed PM Alexis Tsipras's new package. But he faced anger from some in his own party for proposing measures that were rejected in a referendum last Sunday. Some creditors gave an initially positive reaction to the plans but a bailout agreement is far from certain. The whole world is transfixed by the drama being played out in Greece and Europe. Everyone realises so much is at stake. The European project itself has never been under such pressure. If one country were to leave the Euro the fear is that others may follow suit. Last Sunday the Greeks voted NO to more austerity. However this week the Greek prime minister has capitulated on all the demands being made of Greece to desperately try to stave off a Greek exit from the Euro. The heads of the Eurozone are meeting now but its still not certain what will happen. Germany who holds the purse strings is still very unhappy about the debt restructure. In fact even if the heads of Europe agree this weekend it still has to be voted on by the German parliament who are generally very anti this deal. If they vote against it they can veto the whole deal. With Bible in hand we can see clearly there is another final stage coming to Europe. It is a stage where 10 nations say let’s make a proper union – a federal state – a single union. No more selfish national interests but one government. Whatever the outcome of Greece there is no doubt we are heading towards this outcome. God tells us all about this in Revelation 17. BBC, July 7, 2015 Only a few days ago the Greek prime minister Alexis Tsipras won an overwhelming mandate from the Greek people, in a referendum, to reject more-or-less these bailout terms. And today, on the back of that popular vote, he is signing up to the supposedly hated bailout. Does that mean the eurozone can go back to life as normal, of inadequate economic performance but Greek Armageddon deferred (again)? Is a rescue done and dusted? Not yet. The Greeks owe the Germans approximately 86.7 billion euros. The German people are overwhelmingly against pouring more money down a financial black hole, and German leaders have taken a very hard line with Greece in recent days. If Germany does not like this new Greek proposal, it will almost certainly fail. And if there is no deal, Greek government finances will totally freeze up, the Greek banking system will collapse, and the Greeks will be forced out of the euro. What would Europe look like in 10 years time? They all said regardless of whether Greece comes out of the Euro, Europe has reached a turning point. The image that Nebuchadnezzar saw is in fact a timeline. Gold = Babylon, Silver= Medes and Persian, Bronze= Greeks, Iron = Rome, Iron and clay feet = Europe. The stone hits the feet. So Jesus comes during the time of Europe. But the final stage are the toes. A whole verse is dedicated to the 10 toes. Toes come out of the feet. The 10 toes = the 10 kings in Revelation 17. The bitter climb-down clears the way towards an €86bn rescue package and the renewal of emergency liquidity for the Greek banking system, once Greece’s parliament has voted for pension cuts, tax rises and a raft of other measures by Wednesday. This is the first of a series of deadlines as the country is kept on a tight leash. The terms imposed after marathon talks through the night on Sunday are far harsher than those rejected by Greek voters in a landslide referendum a week ago, and risks shattering democratic consent in Greece. It has left Europe bitterly divided along North-South lines of cleavage, severely testing the political cohesion of monetary union. Far from uniting Europe the Greek deal has shown its deep divisions. Germany and France were divided on how to tackle this issue. Those division still remain. Greece has about 4 weeks to yet another deadline – this time to negotiate yet another loan to keep them afloat. The International Monetary Fund (the world’s lender of last resort) has fiercely criticised the bailout deal offered to Greece by the Eurozone. It said Greece's public debt was now "highly unsustainable" and urged debt relief on a scale "well beyond what has been under consideration to date". The IMF has made public that it does not believe this deal will work and wants no part of it. None of this bodes well for future bailouts. Greece remains in intensive care and the doctors are arguing about the best treatment. We know that Europe is divided between iron (strength of Rome) and clay (democracy and human rights). Georgia says that Russian troops based in South Ossetia moved markers reading “state border” several hundred meters further into Georgian territory on Tuesday, leaving a portion of the Baku-Supsa oil pipeline under Russian control. Georgia has said the move was part of a campaign of “creeping annexation” that has also seen Russia erect new fences on other parts of the de-facto frontier. An EU foreign policy spokesman said the move "had led to tension in the area, with potentially negative effects on the local population, their livelihood and freedom of movement”. EVENT Back in 2008 Russia and Georgia fought a five-day war over South Ossetia, a breakaway republic that seceded from Georgia following the collapse of the Soviet Union. The war ended with a total Russian victory, and Georgia has had no control South Ossetia or Abkhazia. These are break-away republics under de-facto Russian protection, since that conflict. The area of Georgia is highly significant. If Russia is going to invade Israel will tanks and soldiers it needs to come down through Georgia. The fact Russia is starting to push south again in this area is very important. It shows that Putin is not content with only pushing into Eastern Europe but also intends to push south as well. These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast. • Francois Hollande calls for eurozone government Daily Telegraph, July 19, 2015 EVENT The French President has lobbed a large boulder into negotiations on the future of Europe by calling for a full “eurozone government”with its own ministers, parliament and budget. Without mentioning Britain by name, François Hollande called for an “avant-garde”to push ahead towards a form of federal government leaving behind countries which opposed further “deepening” or “integration” of the 28-member European Union. Mr Hollande’s proposals – in an article to mark the 90th birthday of the former European Commission President, Jacques Delors – were framed as a response to the muddled, much criticised and fragile eurozone response to the Greek debt crisis. His comments were, however, also intended to mark out France’s position in negotiations later this year on EU reform, before the in/out referendum in the UK next year or in 2017. This is a remarkable headline in the light of recent WWW slides that have shown we should expect with Bible in hand the creation of a NEW European Superstate. The events in Greece have made France and Germany rethink what Europe is all about. They will never give up on the “project” and instead of thinking perhaps the Euro is failing they instead think we need even more Europe. Deeper integration, more powers to the centre. Nations giving up their sovereignty. “Our biggest threat is not too much Europe, but too little,” Mr Hollande wrote. There would be a eurozone government with its own prime minister, his officials said. This government would have its own budget. The Bible says that 10 nations will give their power and strength to the Roman Empire beast. This means giving up sovereign power to govern themselves. A toughly-worded admonition from the European Union's council of foreign minister urges Israel to abandon plans for the "forced transfer of population and demolition of Palestinian housing and infrastructure" in Khirbet Susiya, a village in the south Hebron hills, along with Abu Nwar, a bedouin community elsewhere in the West Bank. The plea came days after the US state department issued an equally emotive appeal on behalf of Khirbet Susiya, warning that demolitions and evictions would be "harmful and provocative”. The European intervention - made in a seven-point communique on the stalled Middle East process - will be followed on Wednesday when the Jerusalem envoys of all 28 EU states visit the village for the second time in a month in an effort to intensify the pressure on Israel. EVENT Europe is anti Semitic. They are totally against the Jews living in the land of Israel. It has decided to turn up the pressure on Israel even more. Israeli bank shares fell by nearly 2.5 per cent on Wednesday after the European Council on Foreign Relations argued that the EU must go beyond labelling products from the occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem, Haaretz has reported. European sanctions against Israeli banks are nothing new, but the new proposals would have a more fundamental impact on banking, loans and mortgages, academic qualifications earned in settlement institutions. It is the European Superstate that will rise out of the bottomless pit. • Greek debt crisis: IMF wary of third bailout BBC, July 30, 2015 The International Monetary Fund (IMF) is very wary of any financial contribution to a third Greek bailout. The implication of remarks by an IMF official is that it is very unlikely to provide funds at the first stage. The fund could, however, join in later, provided both the eurozone and Athens take steps to address IMF concerns. The problem for the IMF is that its staff believe the elements so far agreed are not enough to make the Greek government's debt sustainable. Negotiations are under way and the IMF is involved. But its staff think the eurozone governments need to give Greece debt relief. That does not have to be in the form of explicit reductions in the outstanding debt. It could mean longer repayment terms and delays before any payments are required - so-called grace periods. The eurozone has insisted that it is only prepared to look at the possibility after Greece has made a start on implementing whatever conditions will be agreed. EVENT Greece is a long way from being out of the woods. A new agreement is required- and soon. The trouble is the IMF wants nothing to do with it unless Greece reforms much further than anyone is talking about. If the bailout talks do produce an agreement to provide financial assistance from the eurozone bailout agency, the European Stability Mechanism (ESM), it will still need approval by some parliaments, including Germany's Bundestag. If the IMF is not involved it is much more difficult to get Germany to vote in favour of it. In effect the Germans would have to shoulder even more of the debt and the risk. The World Gold Council (WGC) said demand in Europe for the precious metal rose sharply in the three months to June compared with the same quarter last year amid rapid buying of bullion, even as global demand fell by 12pc to a six-year low of 915 tonnes. The increase in Europe was led by Germany, where sales of bars and coins rose 24pc to 24.1 tonnes in the second quarter. Demand in Austria and Switzerland also rose sharply, according to the WGC's quarterly trends report. The report showed that demand for gold remained high among central banks, which were net purchasers for an 18th straight month in June. Russia's central bank continued to lead the way – feeding its "voracious appetite" with net purchases of 36.8 tonnes during the quarter. EVENT The Russian economy is suffering from its worst recession in six years following a halving of oil prices since last July and Western sanctions triggered by the country's annexation of Crimea. Russia has been amassing as much gold as possible, in a bid to outmanoeuvre its enemies in a silent economic war to hold onto its independence and further project its status. Kiev said the measures would take effect on 25 October and would include major Russian airlines Aeroflot and Transaero. Russian transit flights will also be banned if the planes carry military personnel or dual-use goods. Moscow described the move as "an act of madness", promising a firm response. The flight ban was announced by Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk. "Russian planes with the Russian tricolour have no business in Ukrainian airports," he said. Last week, Ukraine imposed sanctions against 400 people and 90 legal entities - most of them from Russia - held responsible for Moscow's annexation of Crimea in March 2014 and the ongoing conflict in eastern Ukraine. Russian officials said they would be forced to take adequate measures. EVENT he COMMENT For the last month the fighting in Ukraine has abated. It hasn’t stopped altogether but it has become sporadic. But something in the last few days appears to have changed. First of all there was this report out the blue that Ukraine is going to ban all Russian flights into Ukraine from Oct 25th. This will certainly provoke a response from Russia. Secondly, on Friday, all UN agencies were ordered out of rebel-held parts of the Luhansk region in eastern Ukraine. The UN humanitarian aid chief expressed alarm at this development. “Some 150,000 people are already not receiving monthly food distributions," he said. So we see the crisis in Ukraine potentially building up again. One report this week said that Russia is clearly willing to fight in two conflicts at once. Eastern Europe and the Middle East. The 28-nation bloc is torn between solidarity and security as governments struggle to cope with an influx of people fleeing war and oppression in Syria, Afghanistan and the Horn of Africa, which is fuelling a political backlash in many countries. "What was unimaginable before is possible today - that is the disintegration of the European project," Frans Timmermans, the European Commission vice-president coordinating EU action on the migration crisis, told the Friends of Europe think-tank. Mutual mistrust among EU governments has reached alarming levels, say old Brussels hands who are used to frequent past crises. EVENT COMMENT The Syrian crisis is not only destabilising the Middle East. It is not only bringing the two super powers into a proxy war. It is not only polarising the hatred of Saudi Arabia and Iran. It is also causing crisis and division within Europe. It is doing so because of the millions of refugees that have been caused primarily due to the Syrian conflict. There are poor nations within Europe that just do not want to take these refugees in. There are other nations who are insisting they must. The whole European project as we know it today is shaking because of this crisis. The fear is that the Russian involvement in Syria will actually only make the refugee crisis worse. The German Chancellor has faced growing calls from her own coalition partners to abandon policies which offer a welcome to refugees, particularly in Bavaria where facilities have been stretched by the recent influx. In a stark warning during an address to members of her conservative Christian Democratic Union party, Ms Merkel said Germany risked sparked a chain reaction of violence if it shuts its border with Austria permanently. “It will lead to a backlash,” she said. Referencing the wars which ravaged the region in the 1990s, she added: “I do not want military conflicts to become necessary there again.” Tensions are running high among the Balkan states, ever since Hungary’s decision to shut its borders opened up old rifts between it and its neighbours. EVENT War is coming to Europe, Angela Merkel warned this week. She said if the Syrian refugee crisis is not sorted out soon conflict would come to the Balkans. Some eastern European nations with little cash have put up razor wire and closed their borders. On top of this Germany's intelligence agencies have expressed serious concerns this week over the huge influx of migrants harbouring extremist views. The report said, 'We are importing Islamic extremism, Arab anti-Semitism.” Slovenia’s Prime Minister Miro Cerar said: 'If we don't find a solution today, if we don't do everything we can today, then it is the end of the European Union as such. If we don't deliver concrete action, I believe Europe will start falling apart.' Europe as we know it will fall apart, only to regather and 10 nations will join together to form a resurrected Holy Roman Empire. Since last Friday’s attacks, checkpoints have been established on major routes between France and Belgium with drivers and passengers subject to passport checks. Passengers have been searched on some cross-border trains, with armed guards patrolling the carriages. While complying with the letter of the Schengen code which allows emergency border controls, the move is another blow for the free travel zone after Germany, Austria, Denmark and other states resurrected long-abandoned border controls in a bid to control the influx of hundreds of thousands of migrants this summer. COMMENT The impact of the terror attacks in Paris continue reverberate. The Schengen agreement basically says that within Europe there are no borders. Europe is trying to act like a single state. Only two EU members states opted out of the Schengen agreement - Ireland and Britain. But with the migrant crisis and now these attacks in Paris, nations are re-imposing border controls or even closing borders altogether. This has serious impacts on the whole notion of Europe being one superpower state. The nations are beginning to divide. This is the opposite of what we know will happen ultimately. We know that although there is division (clay and iron do not mix) there is a final reincarnation of the Holy Roman Empire at the very end. This is when 10 nations come together as one. Ben Lynfield visited the Ahava cosmetics plant in Mitzpe Shalem, one of the prime targets of the new regulations. The packaging on the Ahava cosmetic company’s skin tone and texture-creating serum says it is made in Dead Sea, Israel, but Ahava’s factory is actually in a settlement nestled below desert mountains in the occupied West Bank. The European Union views things differently. Within the next few days it is expected to announce new guidelines requiring member states to affix labels that specifically identify Israeli products made in settlements, and thus distinguish them from those coming from Israel proper. The government of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is furious about the change. It argues that Israel is being singled out unfairly and that labelling will pave the way for the boycotting of all Israeli goods. EVENT Europe has a habit of wanting to single out things made by Jews. It is the anti-Semitic nature of the EU that brings this about. They do not recognise Israel’s right to the land. They side with the Palestinians and believe Israel should be divided in two. In September after the European Parliament voted overwhelmingly in favour of labelling, Mr Netanyahu invoked events preceding the Holocaust. “The root of the conflict is not the territories and not the settlements. We have historical memory of what happened when Europe labelled Jewish products,” he said. The Bible speaks of the nations hating the Jews. How they even want to divide the land. According to De Telegraaf, the Dutch Cabinet recently discussed a plan to create a smaller version of the Schengen Agreement that would include only the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany and Austria. The report was only partially dismissed by the Dutch foreign affairs minister, who denied plans to create a smaller version of the Schengen zone but admitted that his government was considering an alliance of "like-minded countries" to reduce the influx of asylum seekers in Northern Europe. Put simply, this is not a random list of countries, but a collection of states that share deep cultural and historic links. In fact, the map that the Dutch government allegedly has in mind bears a remarkable resemblance to the Holy Roman Empire in the late 18th century. The beast here is the 4th Reich – the revived Holy Roman Empire led by Germany • Germany joins fight against Isil after parliament approves military action in Syria Daily Telegraph, December 4, 2015 EVENT Germany's lower house of parliament on Friday approved government plans to join the military campaign against Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (Isil) in Syria. Of the 598 politicians who took part in the vote, 445 voted for, 146 against and seven abstained. The mission will include sending six Tornado reconnaissance jets, a frigate to help protect the French aircraft carrier Charles de Gaulle, refuelling aircraft and up to 1,200 military personnel. Germany will not join countries like Britain, France, the United States and Russia in conducting air strikes. The green light for the mission that could become Germany's biggest deployment abroad comes three weeks after jihadists killed 130 people in a series of attacks in Paris. The atrocities prompted France to invoke a clause requiring EU states to provide military assistance to wipe out Isil in Iraq and Syria. In the same week Germany has also answered the call to join the war. Unlike the UK, Germany will not actually attack Syria but instead will support those nations who are attacking. This is interesting because Germany has another leading role to play in the future. Germany is the head of the beast. The beast spoken of in Revelation 17 that rises out of the bottomless pit is the 4th Reich. The Holy Roman Empire was ruled over by German kings. It was known as the first Reich (Empire). That came to an end with events of the French Revolution. Next came the Germanic Empire - the 2nd Reich. That came to an end with WW1. Next came Hitler and the 3rd Reich. That came to an end with WW2. Coming soon will be the 4th Reich. It will rise out of the European Union and be led by Germany as all the others were. The government in Kiev said that there were now 70,000 Russian or rebel fighters in the region, up from about 50,000 in the summer. Petro Poroshenko, the president, accused the Kremlin of using its military campaign in Syria to “divert the world’s attention from on-going aggression in Ukraine.” At the centre of the renewed hostilities is the town of Marinka, on the outskirts of Donetsk, where both sides are dug in as temperatures plummet. President Obama recently approved a lethal aid package worth $50 million for Ukraine, including mortars, grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms. EVENT COMMENT he The world’s attention is focussed on Syria but all the time the tension continues to build in Eastern Europe. The Organisation for Security and Co-operation in Europe has reported a sharp spike in ceasefire violations. Vladislav Seleznev, the spokesman for Ukraine’s General Staff, said: “The probability of escalation remains significant. We have used the truce to become stronger.’ On Friday the United States and Russia blamed each other for the continued conflict in Ukraine, with Washington accusing the Kremlin of attempting to suppress public discussion of facts about the nearly two-year-old war. The mutual accusations came during a meeting of the U.N. Security Council on Ukraine, a session that was delayed for an hour and a half after Russia insisted U.N. Assistant Secretary-General for Human Rights Ivan Simonovic should not brief the 15-nation council. We can see how events in Europe are bringing the king of the south and north against each other. Mr Cameron has told friends that he will tonight follow the example of Margaret Thatcher by standing up to EU leaders like she did in 1984 when she secured an unprecedented rebate for the UK. The Prime Minister will this evening clash with European leaders and refuse to back down on a controversial bid to ban migrants from claiming benefits in the UK for four years, despite opposition from the majority of EU leaders including Angela Merkel and Francois Hollande. EVENT David Cameron (the UK prime minister) has promised the people of Britain a referendum on whether to stay in Europe or to leave it by 2017. He hinted yesterday that it might be next year in 2016. This week he travelled to Europe to meet the heads of the EU asking them to make compromises that will allow Britain to stay in. He does not want Britain to leave but equally he can see the tide flowing against him. The survey this week shows a substantial percentage of people wanting Britain to leave Europe. Cameron would not want a referendum where he endorses a result he will lose. Hence him desperately trying to get concessions from Europe – especially with regard to immigration. The earth is waxing old… • WMO: 2015 likely warmest year on record Earth Sky Wire, November 30, 2015 The global average surface temperature in 2015 is likely to be the warmest on record and to reach the symbolic and significant milestone of 1° Celsius above the pre-industrial era, according to a new report by the World Meteorological Organization (WMO). The WMO is a specialized agency of the United Nations, with a global membership of 185 member states and six territories. It released its new report on November 25, 2015, as world leaders converged in Paris for the 2015 Paris Climate Conference (COP21). The WMO says the high temps in 2015 are likely due to a combination of the overall trend of global warming, plus the strong ongoing El Niño. A WMO five-year analysis by the WMO said that the years 2011-2015 have been the warmest five-year period on record. During this period there have been many extreme weather events; heatwaves topped the list, according to WMO. EVENT "The state of the global climate in 2015 will make history as for a number of reasons," said WMO Secretary-General Michel Jarraud. "Levels of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere reached new highs and in the Northern hemisphere spring 2015 the three-month global average concentration of CO2 crossed the 400 parts per million barrier for the first time. 2015 is likely to be the hottest year on record, with ocean surface temperatures at the highest level since measurements began. It is probable that the 1°C Celsius threshold will be crossed," said Mr Jarraud. "This is all bad news for the planet.” All this is indeed bad news for the planet. As we see spiritual and moral decline we also see physical decline of the natural world as well. Mankind is a poor steward of this wonderful world God created.
