  11. According to worldpopulationreview.com: Our current estimate for Florida's population in 2019 is 21.64 million. The most recent estimate was carried out in 2015 by the United States Census Bureau and it was estimated that the state’s population had reached 20,271,272. The Census Bureau hasn't provided a new estimate for 2018, but extrapolating from previous year's figures we can expect the population to have increased by roughly a further 375,000 people, bringing the Florida population of 2019 up past 21.64 million. Florida's 2016 growth rate was one of the faster in the country (ranked 4th) at 1.8%.
