• Hypothesis: Write your prediction here. How does camouflage affect survival rates?

• Purpose: To view the effects of animal camouflage on natural selection.

• Materials: black beads, colored beads, 1 multicolored container with lid, 1 black and white container with lid, data sheet, pencil or pen.

• Count out 50 black beads and place in container

• Count out 50 “other” color beads and place in container

• Fill in the “AT START” columns on your data sheet.

5. Shake, choose, repeat until you remove 20 beads.
