August 16, 2005. The Duke-sponsored Student Health Insurance Plan, administered by Hill, Chesson and Woody, does not terminate until this date. Please click on either the Bursar's Office web site or Hill Chesson and Woody's web site for termination of coverage under "Plan Information."
May 15, 2005 is the expiration date of the Health Fee only. The health fee enables you to use services at the Student Health Center during the enrollment period as a full-time or part-time student at Duke. Once the academic year ends you would see a regular doctor rather than go to the Student Health Center.
According to the Duke Card Office, any balance remaining on a student's flex card will be returned to the Bursar's Office.
In case you have no outstanding balance at the Bursar’s Office, a refund will be mailed to you.
Most of you have a balance due at the bursar's office that will need
to be paid off by 5/13/05 (or we hold diplomas and transcripts).
Bursar's website with information on where to mail your payment if
you would prefer that option.
Note: Please don't mail any checks after May 2nd as
they may not be processed in time.
