  2. GRAD FEES You must pay grad fees or you will not walk on graduation day (even if you already have a borrowed cap & gown).

  3. CODE OF CONDUCT You and your parents sign and return to Mrs. Bradley in E3 DURING LUNCHES!! By Tuesday, May 28th. NO FORM, NO WALKING!

  4. PHOTOCARDS Completed in the auditorium lobby a few minutes ago... Must be done before you leave the auditorium!!!

  5. HOUSEKEEPING • If you have any financial obligation, including textbooks and library books, there will be NO diploma in your envelope. Please take care of all obligations before Friday, May 24th.

  6. DAY OF GRADUATION • Arrive at Bright House Field on Friday, June 7th, by 7:00 a.m. Graduation starts promptly at 8:00 am. • BOYS: enter through SOUTH entrance • GIRLS: enter through WEST entrance

  7. PARKING • Graduates, family and friends park in LOT C, across Old Coachman Rd. Parking is $5. • Handicap parking: LOT D. • FREE PARKING PASS: when you turn in your Code of Conduct to Mrs. Bradley in E3, DURING LUNCHES!

  8. SUITE RENTAL • Suite Rentals (air-conditioned rooms) available for families • Contact Doug Kemp for menu and to reserve 727-712-4316 • Morning Ceremony (includes Breakfast Buffet & Beverages): • Party Suite (30 person max.): $600 • Corporate Suite (20 person max.): $400 • Radio Suite (8 person max.): $160

  9. TROPICANA FIELD NO POSTERS, NOISE MAKERS, BALLOON, ETC…

  10. What to bring: • Cap & Gown with tassel WHAT NOT TO BRING: • Cell phones, camera, sunglasses, purse, wallet, keys…

  11. WHAT TO WEAR • BOYS: black pants, black shoes (no tennis shoes or boots), white collared shirt & tie • GIRLS: WHITE shoes (sandals need to have a back strap), dress or blouse/skirt

  12. LINING UP • REMEMBER…BOYS enter through SOUTH entrance; GIRLS enter through WEST entrance. • Faculty will be at entrance directing you where to go. • While lining up, you will be given your name card, and a gold dollar coin.

  13. You need to remember your number to form the lines!! It will be posted on school walls and Bright House Field. • Remain standing until told to move. It is very important that you stay in line, keep close to the person ahead of you.

  14. When you enter the field, walk towards the bell. Boys turn right at the bell, girls turn left. • Boys will sit on right, girls on left. • NHS will sit you. Remain standing until told to sit.

  15. STARTING THE CEREMONY • Introductions • Pledge • National Anthem • Alma Mater • Speeches…

  16. DIPLOMA TIME • Walking: NHS will direct you to walk. You will exit out of the outside of your row (20 boys, then 20 girls, then 20 boys, etc.) and go around the back of the stage. • You will have your pictures taken behind the stage. STAY IN ORDER!

  17. U turn back to the front, up the steps at end of stage. When it’s your turn to walk, give your name card to the A.P. (Mrs. Topping or Mr. Patterson). • Speak your name clearly into his/her ear.

  18. Walk towards Mr. Johnston, shake his hand, drop the dollar coin in his right hand, get your diploma cover (diploma is not inside) from his left hand. • SMILE (picture).

  19. WALK towards authorities, shake hands with all of them. Walk down the front central ramp, NHS will guide you back to your seat through the center aisle. Sit down immediately.

  20. After last senior crosses stage, applause from the audience. • Farewell speech • Official “moving” of the tassels, from right to left, directed by Mr. Johnston. • Quick farewell by Mr. Johnston, and you will empty the field, the same way you came in. • Follow faculty and NHS’s directions – keep your lines together!! • Now you can wave to your family.

  21. Return to the setup area and PICK UP YOUR DIPLOMA! • CJA & NHS: trade your stole for your diploma • First Responders: when you exit the field, turn in your stole to the person collecting them

  22. Collect any belongings you left there and meet your family in front of Bright House Field. You can take pictures there.

  23. REMEMBER… If you don’t turn in your CODE OF CONDUCT to Mrs. Bradley in E3… by Tuesday 5/28th… during lunches only… …YOU WILL NOT WALK 
