  1. The City of Lights

  2. Intro Welcome to Paris! My name is Rafia. On behalf of Good France Tours, I'd like to welcome you all to Paris, France. Tomorrow morning, I will be accompanying you all on an adventure on a bus around the city. The other guides are not here, so listen carefully. The tour starts at 10 o'clock sharp and lasts about 1-2 hours. I will split everyone up into three groups to make it easier for each of you to hear what is being said. I suggest you all bring something that will keep you cool in this warm weather. Flash photography is allowed so there will be many great opportunities to take pictures. If you are interested in reading more about this spectacular city and all that is in it, there is an illustrated guide at the reception desk. I sincerely hope you will enjoy the tour and I promise you are going to enjoy your stay here at this beautiful and elegant city where you can relax, enjoy great meals and feel very safe. See you in the morning, 10 o'clock sharp. Try not to be late!

  3. Who? Hello again. Everyone, please enter the bus one-by-one and find a seat to sit in. I will be reading the "Who?", so I suggest you all listen carefully. My sister and I want to go to the beautiful city that is called Paris. In my opinion, people of all ages would want to go to Paris, France. Especially, lovers. This is because it is a romantic and an amazing city where you can relax and enjoy yourself. On the other hand, here is some other information. Girls would want to go because they probably want to see the famous attractions like the Eiffel Tower or they would want to go shopping with their family or friends at the finest stores. Boys would want to go because they may want to go to the famous children's museum that is called the Cité des Enfants. They also may want to go to a futuristic park like the Parc de la Villette. The Parc de la Villette used to be a reclaimed industrial landscape, but now is a park full of spectacular and thrilling rides.

  4. Who? Men would want to go to see a few famous museums. Also, this may seem sappy, but they may want to find their "true love". Women would also want to go shopping, relax and again to find their "true love". They may also want to go to Paris's famous restaurants and bakeries. The bus is about to start everyone, so sit in your seats and wait until the next complete stop. As we are going please sit back and enjoy the view on the left hand side of us as we enter the city.

  5. Here we are at today's first complete stop. As you can see behind me is the very famous Musée du Louvre. Now I will be reading the "What?", so listen carefully everybody! My destination is Paris, France. Paris is a spectacular city with lots of fantastic history. The things that make Paris special and why people visit Paris are as follows. You can spend weeks there exploring the sites and roaming through the streets without getting bored. Another popular reason why people visit Paris is because it is a "romantic" city and because of that it is called “The City of Love” or “The City of Lights”. <3 Something that attracts women a lot is that they have lots of stores that sell designer clothes, perfumes and jewelry. People all over the world come to see the famous sites in Paris like the Notre Dame de Paris and the Eiffel Tower. What?

  6. Here are two famous sites with a brief description about each of them: Eiffel Tower- The Eiffel Tower is a world-wide famous tower that is located on the Champ de Mars in Paris. Its height is 324 meters! That is pretty tall. The Eiffel Tower was named after an amazing engineer whose name is Gustave Eiffel. Did you know that the Eiffel Tower was the world's tallest building in the year, 1899? Notre Dame- The Notre Dame has no charge, so in other words it’s free. Did you know that the Notre Dame Cathédral is a more popular momentum than The Eiffel Tower? The full name of this place is Cathédral Notre Dame de Paris. The climate of Paris is fairly warm and moderately wet. Summer days are usually warm with sunshine and temperatures around 15-25 °C. Winter days are cold; sunshine is scarce, with temperatures around 7°C. Although snowfall is rare, rain falls throughout the year and although Paris is not a very rainy city, it is known for intense sudden showers. Paris consists mainly of flat grounds, but has prominent hills (not higher than 130 m). Paris covers an oval measuring 86.928 km2 in area and is filled with great forests. Listen up, everybody. There are a few restrooms here so if you have to go, here is your chance. Then, when we all are ready we can get on the bus to our next complete stop! What?

  7. You all may be getting a little tired, so everyone get up and stretch and in a few minutes, I will let you all get out of the bus and explore and buy things from the gift shop. Before you leave the bus, I will read my “When?” In my opinion, I think the best time to go to visit Paris is in the summer in the months, June, July and August. I think this because I would love to go to Paris anytime when it's hot, especially when it is so cold here. Brrr. Out of the bus, everyone! Now is the time to explore and buy things from the gift shop. You all may be getting a little tired, so everyone get up and stretch and in a few minutes, I will let you all get out of the bus and explore and buy things from the gift shop. 8. Okay, has everyone seen the gift shop? Then, hop on and I will start to read the "Where?" My destination is Paris, France, which is in the continent Europe. The longitude and latitude for Paris, France is as follows: 48° 51‘ 24" N, 2° 21' 3" E. Okay, is everyone ready? Then, onto the "Why?“ Where?

  9. The tour is almost done, so keep sitting in your seats and I will read you the entire "Why?" Paris, France is an ideal choice for me because I would love to go shop there because there are many fancy stores in Paris. Another reason is that I would love to visit the famous Eiffel Tower because of its height (it's about 320 meters). Also, because I would love to see museums because I would have so much fun and it would be very interesting. To the last stop of the day! Why?

  10. Here we are at today’s last stop. I am going to read the “How?” While I do that, please get ready to get off the bus. Here are some airlines that fly to Paris from Saskatoon: - Delta Airlines - Air Canada - United - Lufthansa Air Canada can take you on a direct flight. The tour is done so everybody off the bus! I hope you enjoyed the tour! How?
