Product • My product is my barista certification. • Barista- a person who is specially trained make and serve coffee drinks • I have also shown improvements in my social and time management skills.
Training • Register and coffee routine • Hot bar-Steam milk, Lattes, flavored lattes, Cappuccinos • Cold bar- Iced Drinks, Frappacinos, shaken iced teas • Try everything on menu- provide better customer service
Mentor My mentor is Jennifer Johnson, manager at the Fletcher Ingles Starbucks. “My mission is to make sure all customers feel appreciated.” – Jennifer Johnson
Successes • I have obtained my barista certification • I earned various types of pins • I connect well with customers • Drink quality • I have gained the trust of my managers and coworkers
Challenges • I did not know much about coffee when I started working at Starbucks • Likes for likes • I am still working on my speed
Conclusion I have really enjoyed my time being a Starbucks Barista. I have always been interested in Starbucks and this project gave me an opportunity to learn about the fascinating company, while improving some of my own skills. Thank you for your time!
