  • “noisy channel pair”: jumper cable wire tube end <<>> UFE board crosstalk
  • “Viking2 on UFE(5+7) “: sporadic pedestal shift on its 32 channels
  • “1st UDR link WAKE”: pedestal shift in readout -> QM2 S9048 with lower voltage output
  • “border channel with applied HV”: cable connection induces noise to first/last channel of a module ->1/16 of all channels
  • “1st UFE channels pedestal shift”: pedestal position dependant on readout frequency (currently under investigation)

  • 21.Nov: Mount TRD to USS
  • 27./28.Nov: Connect DAQ+HV Cables TRD<>U-Crates (Aachen technicians)
  • 28.Nov: Connection Test (WAKE/RAM)
    • Connect AMSWire cable to U0/U1 JINF A1
    • Connect AMSWire to Aachen DAQ PC EPP-Box (must be nearby)
    • Power on UPD (by common powersupply? Individual?)
    • Read out Solid State Fuse Status and TripCounter of FrontEnd Powersupplies (UPSFE-boards) -> check for shorts in powerline
    • Perform pedestal calibration command on UDR2 boards; Read out calibration results and check for unusual pedestal position and noise values
    • IF Gas Status Ok: Ramp up High Voltage and check current-protection for shorts; Perform calibration and check for noise peaks (taking advantage of problem) to verify proper connection; ramp down HV
    • Power off UPD

  • Readout data when trigger is available. Procedure:
    • Check Gas status (Th.Siedenburg)
    • Check HV (or ramp up)
    • Perform DSP pedestal calibration
    • Start DAQ
    • (ramp down HV)
  • Cosmics calibration run
    • Raw data (maximum data rate?)
    • Track fit to check for correct cabling
    • Check for variation in gas gain (MOP analysis)
