  1. PROCEDURES FOR PROVIDERS AFTER INSETA ACCREDITATION/SCOPE IS AWARDED

Before learning delivery • Upon award of accreditation/scope extension you will be reflected on our database as an accredited provider and linked to the qualification or unit standard/s requested. • Before enrolling learners onto a learning programme please speak to William Fisher, williamf@inseta.org.za  to arrange access to our internal database (SMS). • Once you have access you will need to register your learners to the qualification or skills programme before commencing the learning programme. • You will also need to ensure that your learners are linked to assessors and moderators that are • registered with INSETA and have the relevant scope • linked to you as a provider, with INSETA. • If you wish to deliver skills programmes (i.e.. shorter modules) leading to the qualification, please note that these will have to be recorded separately, on the “skills programme recording” form.

  3. After learning delivery • Ensure that all learning has been assessed and internally moderated (refer to the “Moderator Role” document which sets out requirements) • Ensure that your assessors and moderators are still current in their scope of unit standards and/or qualifications • Ensure that the rules of combination have been met according to the registered qualification • Complete the following: • ETQA verification report • ETQA NLRD verification • Contact INSETA to request a verification of learning completed. Schedule this through Ms Itumeleng Motaung, itumelengm@inseta.org.za.

  4. On approval, INSETA ETQA will sign off the NLRD upload document and approve the upload of credits The provider uploads credits to learners The provider informs INSETA once uploads are completed. Contact William Fisher, Williamf@inseta.org.za The uploads will have to approved before submitting to the National database (NLRD) Certification procedures for full qualifications achieved will commence. Failure to upload correctly or follow any of the procedures outlined above correctly will result in delays in the final certification of learners. After INSETA verification

  5. For uploading please check the following: • Learners are linked to the provider • Learners are linked to the unit standards or qualification • Assessor/s and moderator/s linked to the provider • Assessor/s and moderator/s are registered with INSETA with the relevant • scope
