INTRODUCTION • Mulita is a city in very remote area of DRC, located in MANIEMA province around 300 km from KINDU town. • Mulita health center belong to CECA 16 church one of the member of CME NYANKUNDE. • Bunia Ophthalmic center which is one the branch of CME still covering all the oriental province of DRC and some area of KIVU Province.

  5. ACTIVITIES Many patients still waiting to be se by the ophthalmologist I am performing eye consultation (outpatient unit)

  7. ACTIVITES Before cataract surgery blind patient look sad Recover the sight after cataract surgery and express happiness

  9. STATISTIC REPORT • 207 patients had been see by the ophthalmologist • 102 patients underwent eye surgery: -65 patients recover the sight after cataract surgery, 27 patients underwent trabeculectomy because of glaucoma and 10 patients other miner eye surgery. • Among 27 patients with irreversible blindness 22 were because of absolute glaucoma.

  10. Recommendation and conclusions • We urge the member of CECA 16 Church to help us to get MULITA two time per year to alleviate eye burden of those population and also to sustain our service. • Many patients become irreversible blind because of glaucoma I suggest to conduct glaucoma screening in this area if possible. • A lot of thanks to missionary Maud kells who helps us to get MULITA easily.
