  5. Telling the “Brown Bear Story” This rhythmic kind of reading helps children remember stories better.

  6. SENSE OF SMELL

  7. Yuk…! This rubbish smells horrible to us!!! Yuk!, This dirty sock smells disgusting to me

  8. Mmm!!!... This rose smells lovely to me My sandwich smells nice to me!!! I am hungry! Yummy, Yummy!!!

  14. SENSE OF TASTING We have fun tasting different flavours in the English classroom. Mmm! Chocolate eggs taste delicious to us.

  18. OUR DISPLAYS Children decorated their five senses mask using their own creativity. Different textures and fabrics were used in this activity in order to learn about the sense of “ Touch”. They can describe the kind of materials they used and they can also identify different textures by touching their masks.

  19. The children created their own posters showing the sense of touch by using different textures

  20. Learning by doing We learnt about the five senses through fun activities. We organised a Craft contest. The winners Creations were displayed in the corridors.

  21. And the winners are…!!!

  22. Now let’s experience the world Visit to a Local market Children interact with the shop-keeper. They ask for the names of different fish and if all of them are caught in Gran Canaria.
