  2. ADAM AND EVE LOST THEIRINNOCENTSTATE!! Genesis 3:7 Then the eyes of bothof them were opened, and they realized they were naked;

  3. THEY TRIED TO COVER UP THEIR SIN!! Genesis 3:7 -- so they sewed fig leaves together and made coverings for themselves.

  4. GOD COMES LOOKING FOR THEM!! Genesis 3:8 And they heard the sound of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day, --

  5. ADAM AND EVE HID FROM GOD!! Genesis 3:8 -- and the man and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God among the trees of the garden. Question: CAN THEY REALLY HID FROM GOD??

  6. GOD: “WHERE ARE YOU, ADAM?” Genesis 3:9 Then the Lord God called to the man, and said to him, "Where are you?" Question: DID GOD KNOW WHERE THEY WERE?

  7. Adam answers God: Genesis 3:10 And he said, "I heard the sound of Thee in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; so I hid myself." Question: WHY IS ADAM SUDDENLY AFRAID?

  8. GOD’S QUESTIONS TO ADAM: Genesis 3:11 And He said, "Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten from the tree of which I commanded you not to eat?" DOES GOD KNOW WHAT ADAM HAS DONE? Question:

  9. ADAM’S ANSWER TO GOD: Genesis 3:12 The man said, "The woman you put here with me--she gave me some fruit from the tree, and I ate it." WHO DID ADAM BLAME FOR EATING THE FORBIDDEN FRUIT? Question:

  10. GOD QUESTIONED EVE: Genesis 3:13 Then the Lord God said to the woman, "What is this you have done?" And the woman said, "The serpent deceived me, and I ate." WHO DID EVE BLAME FOR EATING THE FORBIDDEN FRUIT? Question:

  11. Adam blamed Eve. Eve blamed the Serpent. Who are they really blaming? THEY ARE BLAMING GOD! BIBLE TRUTHS: 1. MAN CAN NOT HIDE FROM GOD. 2. MAN IS TOALLY RESPONSIBLE FOR HIS SIN. 3. MAN MUST CONFESS HIS SIN TO GOD!

  12. GOD’S JUDGMENT ON THE SERPENT: Genesis 3:14 And the Lord God said to the serpent,"Because you have done this, cursed are you more than all cattle, and more than every beast of the field on your belly shall you go and dust shall you eat all the days of your life;

  13. THE LONG STRUGGLE BETWEEN GOOD AND EVIL: Genesis 3:15 And I will put enmity (MUTUAL HATRED) between you (Satan) and the woman,---

  14. THE FOES: Genesis 3:15 And I will put enmity (mutual hatred) between you and the woman, and between your seed (offspring) and her SEED (offspring);---

  15. THE“SEED”(offspring) OF THE SERPENT (SATAN) CHILDREN OF THE DEVIL (SATAN)

  16. THE “SEED” OF THE DEVIL (SATAN): John 8:44 "You are of your father the devil, and you want to do the desires of your father.

  17. THE “SEED” (offspring) OF THE DEVIL (SATAN): 1 John 3:10 By this the children of God and the children of the devil are obvious: anyone who does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor the one who does not love his brother.

  18. “SEED”(offspring) OF THEWOMAN Galatians 4:4&5 But when the fulness of the time came, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the Law, in order that He might redeem those who were under the Law, that we might receive the adoption as sons. (VIRGIN BIRTH OF THE SAVIOR)

  19. THE RESULT OF THE BATTLE OF GOOD AND EVIL: Genesis 3:15 --He (JESUS CHRIST) shall bruise you (serpent) on the head,--- SATAN’S DOOM!!

  20. THE RESULT OF THE BATTLE OF GOOD AND EVIL: Genesis 3:15 -- And you (Satan) shall bruise Him (Jesus Christ) on the heel." CHRIST IS RISEN!!

  21. GOD’SJUDGMENTON THE WOMAN: 1. Multiplied conception. 2. Pain in child birth. 3. Headship of husband.

  22. GOD’S JUDGMENTON THE WOMAN: Genesis 3:16 To the woman He said,"I will greatly multiply your pain in childbirth, in pain you shall bring forth children; yet your desire shall be for your husband, and he shall rule over you."

  23. GOD’SJUDGMENTON THE MAN: 1. Life will be hard: a. Cursed is the ground. b. In sorrow you will grow your food. c. In the sweat of your face. 2. You will die! (The physical BODY dies and decays)

GOD’SJUDGMENTON THE MAN: Genesis 3:17 Then to Adam He said, "Because you have listened to the voice of your wife, and have eaten from the tree about which I commanded you, saying, 'You shall not eat from it'; Cursed is the ground because of you in toil you shall eat of it all the days of your life.

GOD’S JUDGMENTON THE MAN: Genesis 3:18&19 "Both thorns and thistles it shall grow for you; and you shall eat the plants of the field; by the sweat of your face you shall eat bread, till you return to the ground (death), because from it you were taken; for you are dust, and to dust you shall return."

  26. GOD CLOTHED ADAM AND EVE: Genesis 3:21 And the Lord God made garmentsofskin for Adam and his wife, and clothed them. GOD KILLS AN ANIMAL TO PROVIDE A COVERING FOR ADAM AND EVE WHICH IS A PICTURE OF CHRIST DYING ON THE CROSS FOR THE SIN OF THE WORLD!

  27. GOD DOES NOT WANT ADAM AND EVE TO LIVE FOREVER IN SIN: Genesis 3:22 Then the Lord God said, "Behold, the man has become like one of Us, knowing good and evil; and now, lest hestretch out his hand, and take also from the tree of life, and eat, and live forever"--

  28. GOD EXPELLS ADAM AND EVE FROM THE GARDEN OF EDEN: Genesis 3:23&24 therefore the Lord God sent him out from the garden of Eden, to cultivate the ground from which he was taken. So He drove the man out; and at the east of the garden of Eden He stationed the cherubim, and the flaming sword which turned every direction, to guard the way to the tree of life.
