Antic (n) • A grotesque, ludicrous or fantastic action. • The Roadrunner was known for the horrible antics he played on the coyote.
Antipathize (v) • To show or feeling a feeling of antagonism, aversion, or dislike. • Jacob antipathized Edward in “Twilight”.
Apathy (n) • Insensibility to emotion of passionate feeling • Spock shows apathy torwards emotion; he is unable to understand it.
Appall (v) • To fill with horror or dismay. • Oscar was appalled when he heard there was a pop quiz.
Arbitrary (adj) • Fixed or done, unsupported. • The judge’s verdict seemed arbitrary; the evidence did not support it.
