  3. Where are rainforests located? Largest Rainforest-Amazon river basin Temperate Rainforest-Found along the pacific coast

  4. Why do we need rainforests? Plants- they generate a lot of the earths oxygen Climate- helps maintain a balanced climate Animals- home to many unique species

  5. Why are rainforests in danger? Like this picture, rainforests are being logged off for timber. Higher human population also is a factor in this situation.

  6. Why are the rainforest plants and animals in danger? Humans and other things they bring harm the animals. Plants lack the nutrients the once had.

  7. Land development for rainforest land. Resorts and other hotels are a buyer of land. Some our even enterprises doing studies. The land is being changed for tourist and money.

  8. Malaria(the bark of the cinchona tree produces quinine. Muscle relaxants come from curare, a vine extract used to poison arrows and darts. The Phyllomedusa Bicolor sweats and causes strokes, seizures, depression and alzheimer’s disease.
