Carry a litterbag in your car. Make sure trash cans have lids that can be securely fastened. Tie papers in a bundle before placing them in a curbside recycling bin. Make litterbag for your friends, too. At last, volunteer to help organize a lean up.
Not only does it not look nice but, it mat carry germs. Some animals are attracted to areas with lots of litter. They find their food among the trash and can pick up the germs and become carriers for diseases that may make people sick.
