  7. How widespread are the instances of scour? Are they in similar locations/conditions? What criteria were used to design the scour protection? Is design criteria consistent? Were construction deficiencies involved in the failure? What criteria or design guidance changes are needed to prevent continuing occurrences of this scour? What lessons, beyond changes to design criteria, need to be communicated to the rest of the Corps Develop surveying and plotting standards that MVD will use to ensure that adequate surveys are taken an analyzed properly.
