Present solutions • ITU-T Q.1912.5 and 3GPP 29.163 (Rel-6 and Rel-7) only specify that an MGCF (PSTN GW/MGC) analyses information received in the R-URI when setting up a call towards the PSTN. • RFC 3398 (ISUP/SIP interworking) also talks about R-URI • An existing node receiving an Emergency URN in the R-URI and a PSTN number in the Route header will most likely reject the call
