  1. About the ocean

  2. Firstly, opening the lesion will be a video to attract their interest to ocean.

  3. The whole class can discuss and give their answers to these questions. • What’s the area of the ocean? • It is about 140 million square miles (362 million square km), or nearly 71% of the Earth's surface. • What’s the average depth of ocean? • It is 12,200 feet (3, 720m) • Where is the deepest point of ocean? • It is in the Mariana Trench in the western pacific, 36,198 feet.

  4. How does Sundogs form. We discuss and explain together.

  5. Sundog formation • When the sun is near the horizon and ice crystals are present in the air, look up to see a pair of bright spots sitting on either side of the sun. always to the right and the left along the horizon line, these dogs loyally follow the sun across the sky. While this atmospheric phenomenon can occur whenever, wherever, the effect is usually quite subtle. When sunlight passes through cirrus clouds ( or other types of ice clouds) at just the right angle, however, these spots can appear as bright as the sun itself. The brightest occur when the sun is low in the sky in colder regions.
