Current DSCA Plan • Based on the inventory data call the SC workforce will include about 21K personnel • Plans are to divide the workforce into five position groupings for certification purposes • SC Planning, Oversight, and Execution • BPC/FMS Case Execution • SCO Operations and Management • SC Execution Support • SC Acquisition • SC Acquisition makes up about 21% of the overall SC workforce DISCS developing curriculum DAU Courses Virtual Security Cooperation University being established

What this Means to You • Details still in work but headed toward following • SC Acquisition certification will be based on 3-level DAU International Acquisition Career Path course completion plus • On-line SC familiarization course taken by entire SC workforce • Basic regional studies on-line course • Intermediate level regional studies on-line course with “selectable” region • A level 4 “expert” certification being considered but has not been defined DAU and DISCS collaboration ongoing
